  1. Wait a minute, Doc. Ah... Are you telling me you built the mole machine... out of a Ford Thunderbird? 6.0
  2. This... on an otherwise nice presenting book.
  3. It’s a valid question. There’s an accumulation of defects: Besides your aforementioned color breaking spine stresses, there’s tics on the BC, the top edge of the back cover has dings, the top left corner of the back cover has been slightly impacted, there’s a color transfer or soiling by the price on the front cover, there are two slight indentations on the FC between the R and O of ROM and below the S in Spaceknight. And that’s with my untrained eye, others might see more. Now some of these defects can be pressed out and others (like color breaking creases) cannot be fixed. As the book sits, 9.0 or possibly 9.2 is a fair grade.
  4. These are Bindery Perforations and occur as part of the manufacturing process. They do not affect the grade. 6.5
  5. This is a nice looking book. Staple tears and the bottom staple is just holding on, if it were detached you probably would end up closer to VG. As is...5.0
  6. If I’m not mistaken, this is the same back cover picture you posted for your Conan #1... Or perhaps my eyesight is failing, some of the pictures looked a little blurry Guessing that this cover belongs to this book because the background is the same... 4.5
  7. 6.0 maybe 6.5, does the staple rust impact the grade? But... love the book, Morbius has always been a favorite of mine.
  8. Was thinking 6.5 but the consensus here is 7.0, I wouldn’t disagree with that either.
  9. Looks to be 3”+ spine split. 3.5/4.0
