The thing about knowledge is that much of it is gained from mistakes.  Sharing your hard earned knowledge for the benefit of others is selfless and very much appreciated.    So thanks to you and the many generous community members who freely give their time and knowledge to help others.

PGM ASM 129 -  First appearance of the Punisher.  Can you believe that I had buyer’s remorse when I purchased this for $50?  (Oh, a few years back.)
Staple tear.  Spine roll. Book doesn’t lay completely flat. I’m concerned that the top staple might pop if I press the book.  Thoughts?

Big thumbs up to those of you who owned an Evel Knievel stunt cycle.   I had a Scramble Van too, but I had to share it fight with my 4 brothers.

Sorry about the one flipped photo.  Do the small bindery tears on the bottom of the book impact the grade?

PGM ASM 20 - First appearance of the Scorpion.  Slight staple tear at the top staple.  1/4” tear on right edge by Spidey’s boot.  Cover and centerfold firmly attached.

Agreed. Both spine corners are a little weak, there are spine and staple stresses, and besides the small tear on the top there is an edge stress tear just above the hand on the right edge.

Wow. I wasn’t even in the same area code.  My personal grade was 3.0-3.5.  This one is intriguing... 

Love the book!  Tape/residue around a spine split?  3.0

There’s a Whiz Comics #13 in the Overstreet Grading Guide under 3.5... serendipity?

PGM - ASM 6  The first appearance of the Lizard.  Condition issues that might not be noticeable are slight staple tears.  
Otherwise the condition issues are in the pictures including the barely visible (ahem) Marvel Chipping.

”San Antone” just awesome...

Looks like a small bindery tear in the bottom right corner.  Not quite a corner chip. BC soiling, and corners not as sharp (slightly abraded or impacted) and a color scrape in Boba’s cape... 8.5/9.0.  Could clean up to 9.2 perhaps a little better.

Looks like somewhere between a 5.0 and a 6.0.  My personal grade had it at 5.5, so right in line with everyone here.  

I gave everyone a little love for their comments and suggestions.  Appreciate the feedback!  

Spine and staple color breaking stresses, edge stress, and color spot on edge of BC.  Maybe 9.0.

Appreciate the inside cover photo.  Assuming the pages are not brittle, and from the photos it does not appear to be, my guess is 7.0
