Signature and Sketch on November 11, 2002? Sooo...Time travel IS possible!!!

Nice book! Good chance those dimples can be pressed out. There’s a few color breaking spine and staple stress lines. 9.0 as it sits, better with a C&P.
And, just a suggestion... if you haven’t already, you should change that backing board out it’s looking a little rough... -
Spine scuff is a bale mark, perhaps. 8.0

Small tear on the back cover, some color loss and a couple of weak corners. 8.5

Love the stamp on the splash page. My first thought was 7.0, but 6.5 is fair.

The closeup of the 2” tear on the FC looks strange to me. Could be my imagination but perhaps there may have been an attempt at a tear seal?
2.5

Appreciate the pics! Because spine splits often occur on square bound books, is there any leniency? Or, is a spine split just a spine split, and graded accordingly?

9.6 as it is, 9.8 is certainly possible. Good luck...

Yes, the spine is roughed up and has quite a number of other defects: spine roll, rusted staples, staining, soiling, creases and what appears to be a subscription fold my guess is 3.0.
There. First post and grading comment all in one. Now everyone knows that I have no idea what I’m doing...

in Hey buddy, can you spare a grade?

I saw a Heritage Auction image of the same book with the exact same travelled cover defect. So clearly a production error. Bindery defect doesn’t affect this grade.
