  1. Raw comics can be returned for any reason within 14 days for a full refund, at the buyers expense and in the same condition sent. #70 VF/NM 9.0 raw. $65 $55 $45 shipped.
  2. Free bomb-proof packaged airmail with tracking is working out at $24.25 per book.....
  3. Often the original art is under the stat, not always, but worth asking about or taking a leap (when the price is on the lower end of range). Very true and my assumption was that there was original art underneath but that artwork would be different to the published panel I had nostalgia for. Even so, I would have loved to own this page at the lower end but couldn't make it work with the original seller. Maybe Silver Surfer will be more reasonable if he ever needs to sell....
  4. Bought some nice pieces recently but still looking. Let me know me what you have.....

  13. So some guy potentially cost you a couple of hundred grand by reading your AF #15 on the john....
  14. Your books look great and i can't wait to see the grades start coming in. Also big to another Thor fan ! Just to set your expectation on the AF #15 though, I see it being in the 5.x rather than 7.x range though still a nice copy and worth serious coin.
  15. Yea, we know one person was willing to go to 9K, would anyone else have? Jerome If someone is willing to go to $9k, why not $10k? It would only take two kamikaze bids at the very end of an auction for it to happen. But we'll never know, because the seller opted for a fee-free sale (that would have been his net at a $10k auction hammer price anyway). Incidentally, this is now at least the third ~$8k+ price that's been paid for this book. This 9.8 copy (twice now), and another boardie did a trade for a slabbed 9.6 (FMV $4k) plus $4k cash for a very nice raw copy that was previously offered (raw) on ebay for $8k. The boardie subsequently sent it in for grading and was lucky enough to ace the other new 9.8 this past summer. It now sits firmly entrenched in his awesome registry. -J. I must have missed this. So the seller that just sold for $9k had $8k into the book himself ?
  16. Wow, that's an incredible price, congratulations ! It's a shame the last "official" 9.8 sale in GPA is still only $1,100 just 3.5 years ago. Would be good to see some 9.8's sell in open auction so we can really see where this book is at and silence the naysayers. Out of interest, and for those who doubt the market depth, how many serious inquiries & offers above $7,500 did you get ?
  17. This 8.0 sold for $450 in 2013. Seems like quite a jump to $800 in 2016 so I'm not sure how much more could possibly have been left on the table ?
  18. No offense Jerome as you seem like an enthusiastic guy who loves his books, but do you always buy at the wrong end of the curve when the prices are at their highest ?
  19. The last 4 sales in 2004 were all above $2,400 with the last one being $2,900.
