every once in a while!
The only reason it is a "concern" is, because of how often (seldom) we "aren't as prepared?"
We have the brine spray and the salt with sand and etc. Just not "accustomed"
Theres almost no snow here, suposed to have a lot of snow here!
If you dont want your snow bring it to Québec!ill accept it free of charge

Lol I wished someone Happy Birthday hoping it was warm for them, in the personal announcements, and they turned out to be from Wisconsin
I had even done the weather for Dallas in Celsius as that was negative seven or eight.
Lol that and Green Bay making thorough playthings of the cowboys
Saving grace? Was waking up to flakes no ice today!
Snow in texas?is that possible?

It is getting real hard to get physical disc these days compared to before.in Québec best buy is stoping, wallmart sint that great and most other shows are closing.
Am trying to buy from websit for first time this week.i know of criterion of course,i dont like vinegar syndrome much, arrow and second sights are solid!
But what of others i missed or buy from online stores, ebay is not that good got ripped off à few times with bootleg, and amazon im not sure.
Please share your expérience since collecting blu ray are becoming à niche thing!

I'm off today, with plumbing problems and a vehicle that is experiencing a battery draw from a fuse that if I pull it, it stops the drain but also kills the driving gauges, and it just keeps getting piled on from there.
Big thanks to @Kramerica who I chose in the raffle, sending with utmost care! Even throwing in some extras that make it extra worthy of a day like Friday!!

Although I have a massive digital library, there are many movies I still enjoy watching via physical media because the sound and visuals are much better. I get exactly what Christopher Nolan meant.
Yes!and the frame per second is steady!it does not change like on streaming.

For me star trek is best when it looks in the future, making another series or movies before the classic of the 60s is a bit tedious i find.still im a big fan of brave new worlds, even if its in the past.i just wish they would do a series à few hundred years after picard.completely new!that would be thrilling!

Streaming is here to stay and won(aparently, thats what im told).
Talking to friends and such i notice that i have become à black sheep cause im not a streaming guy(whatever that is).i still buy my blu ray and 4k. Have i become i dinosaur?
Lets discuss how the hobby have changed these past years and what it means for us.
Its becoming difficult to find some movies in physical form these few years. Im glad that some titans of movies are remastered in 4k like the abyss wich i cant wait to see!

I got this note from Sean's wife to share with the group:
Thank you to everyone on the CGC boards who wrote such kind and eloquent posts about Sean. They were incredibly meaningful to me, our daughters, and the rest of our family. He really loved talking with all of you over the years, but I don’t think he would’ve expected this kind of outpouring.
For those of you who really dug his Rick Geary Frank Zappa avatar, I thought you might like to see where we have the original hanging in our home. It’s on the wall next to an oversized Zappa poster that Sean bought at Cheap Thrills record store in New Brunswick NJ when he was a student at Rutgers c. 1988. I had it restored for him about 15 years after he bought it, and it’s been hanging on our wall since then. We were both psyched to have the 2012 Geary pen and ink accompany it.

I tought his avatar was a weird drawing of hercules Satan from dragon ball z.wow did i learned something today!

Lot was follow by 3 people, Ebay price are totally random usually... so i often see some totally overpriced lot of modern, like 5 per books but sometimes there are some really nice continueous run like this one for 1 per book and im really surprised how longer i can take to move sometimes, for exemple there is now a lot of 200 Hellblazer for 1 each which are not moving for like 2 months...
The only problem i can see with this kind of lot its that probably most of the people interested by a run already have started to collect issues with smaller lot so if they buy it they will have a lot of duplicate...
I yhink the shipping might be a problem from some 200 to 300 books-shipping might be pricey idk
