  1. My stuff has been hold for awhile, check each of your invoice, there is a new fee there Malvin
  2. The saving money part no longer applies I think. There is now a fee per win that goes toward shipping. At least that seems to be what is happening with me. Malvin
  3. Its not a prize I like winning, but I have paid for published art from an artists and he hasn't shipped. It's been almost 6 months so today I decided to offer an payment if he ships (after I receive it of course) Malvin
  4. yeah, +1. I don't typically post at least until I have it in hand, but that is more superstition than anything. Malvin
  5. yes I agree. My consignments still need to double :P Malvin

  7. I was thinking of those 2 too. And maybe Guardians of the Galaxy. Not sure how the OA of those were doing. The spike only works for more obscure characters that suddenly become hot. Batman, Superman, Spiderman are already well known to the public (relative to other comics) so I don't see a movie doing a bump. Even Black Panther isn't an A level character but I don't think the movie did anything for OA> Malvin

  9. I think you have your answer. You are being overly cautious. Malvin
  10. That's kinda my thoughts too. I never set goals, especially since I don't want to beat the bushes and offering big bucks for NFS pieces. I know what I want and I'll know it when I see it. Very often, there are pieces that would not have been on any list I made before hand, but I fell in love when I saw it and had to go after it. I'm very reactive like you. Malvin
  11. Would that really work though? I can see it working by 10% or 20%, as in if I was only willing to spend $1K on a page, and the artist shilled an example auction up to $1,200. I might consider bidding $1,200 or $1,300 next time just to get an example. $25K seems out of range (and I don't know the artist). If someone was only willing to spend $5K, would they all of a sudden start bidding $25K due to one example? I think they are more likely to tune out and use the $5K budget on other art. If I had $25K to spend, I would rather buy 5 McFarlane Batman pages instead... Malvin
  12. I don't know the value of Conan pages, especially back in 2013. I hate to say it, but its been 5 years, why would you do that to yourself? Move on Malvin

  15. I added another "cover" to my Alan Moore Supreme collection. The full cover was actually on 2 pieces of art board. I had one piece and never knew if the other piece even existed (or it was from interior panel pages) but fate has a way of working out and the rest of the cover found it's way to me! Link to Supreme Issue 42 Cover Malvin
  16. Congrats! That first one is iconic. You are on a tear! Malvin
  17. Man, those Zeck Punisher cover recreations went relatively cheap! (considering that he said he won't do them again). If I had known these 4 would be up for sale, I would have saved my money for one of these rather than winning the #5 recreation that I go! (based on all the prices they went for) But, saying all that I'm still glad I got at least one of them. Malvin
