  1. Hey Folks Anyone remember reading Wolverine/Nick Fury the Scorpio connection back in the day? I did and I now have a page from it! CAF Link Thanks for looking Malvin
  2. I just asked Adam on Twitter and he said: Old piece for a WIZARD insert booklet re: Kiss, presumably back when Kiss comics were appearing hither and yon in the 90s(?). Thanks alot for asking and getting me some answers Malvin
  3. I got in another piece, a very detailed pencil pinup of KISS by Adam Warren CAF Link If anyone knows where this was used, please let me know. I've reached out to Randy Martin (Adam Warren's rep) to see if Warren remembers. Malvin
  4. Hey Folks, Got in a couple of cool niche covers. 1. Matt Wagner Cover to Zorro #10 2. Dave Johnson Cover to Hammer of the Gods #5 Malvin Link to CAF recent uploads

  6. It has very niche interest, but I just uploaded consecutive very early Jordi Bernet pages from his days working for UK comics (Smash) Legend Testers from Smash 70 page 24 Legend Testers from Smash 70 page 25 Thanks for looking! Malvin
  7. Yup, I love getting art signed, not in the art area so that it doesn't detract. It also gives you something to talk about with the artist Malvin
  8. I just uploaded a Javier Salares Ghost Rider splash! yay! CAF Link Thanks for looking Malvin
  9. I'm probably the only person that might appreciate this, but I thought I would still share. As everyone might know by now, I really enjoyed the Alan Moore run on Supreme and here are a couple of related pages: Rob Liefled Alan Moore Supreme page Ian Churchill Supreme Splash from Coven Thanks for looking Malvin
  10. Wow, that's a great start! It will be hard to top but you will top it as you get more addicted to the hobby! Malvin
  11. If it was me, yes. Malvin Thanks - I am actually pretty confident everything will be fine - I was just hoping to get some opinions from seasoned OA buyers. It's been another month since I was last told it was "on it's way". Should I be getting nervous yet? Or is this a normal timeframe for art coming via Europe? Again, just looking for opinions and observations - not cold, hard fact. I've sent an email to the dealer politely asking for an update - but I am curious to how long is too long before I escalate my requests to have my purchased product delivered or money refunded. I don't know if this helps you or not. I recently purchased a piece of OA that was being shipped from Belgium to the east coast of the US. I purchased on April 5 and it arrived on May 6. I figured a month would be an acceptable amount of time, but I ordered the art March 21st, and April 23rd I was told it was en route to the dealer. Now, May 21, I'm starting to get concerned with where the piece is. Sigh.. and I said if it was me, I would wait too. The paypal chargeback window has passed, so if it was me again, and polite emails aren't going anywhere, then my emails would be less polite and eventually I would out them. Malvin
  12. OK good luck then! Just remember that UV protection will not help if markers were used to draw the sketch. They will fade when expose to light, even behind UV glass. Malvin
  13. I'm not aware of any such examples. There are 2 things to watch out for when doing this however: 1. If markers or similar pens were used, I wouldn't frame it, otherwise it would fade. 2. Something that big sounds like a really expensive frame job, much more expensive than framing the individual pieces. Malvin
  14. Nice page but superman did it first That may be so, but I read this comic first so for me it was more awesome Malvin
  15. I added a mishmash of pages to my CAF over the last week, so here they are: 1. Avengers 220 page 8 & 9 - Thor Crushing Coal into diamonds! I don't remember much else from this comic, but I remember reading this and was amazed at how powerful Thor is to be able to crush coal into Diamonds. 2. Two great pages from comics written by Greg Rucka. A Leandro Fernandez Queen & Country page and a Steve Lieber Whiteout page 3. A rare published page by Alex Maleev from Avengers Illuminati Special 4. Carlos Pacheco Green Lantern sketch CAF Link to most recent uploads Thanks for looking! Malvin
  16. Great page! I love Chiang's work and this is a great example! Malvin
  17. I just added a few things over the past few days: 1. Two Jae Lee Captain America Pages 2. A page from Scott McCloud's Zot 3. A Steve Rude Batman sketch Take a look: CAF Link to recent uploads Malvin
  18. Lots of different places sell different sizes of mylar. Try BCE mylar or e-gerber they might not have the exact size but something will work. Malvin
  19. It will vary due to personal preferences, but I don't care about cosmetic damagess and from my observation it doesn't really affect the sale price. OA collecting is not comic collecting. Now if the page is totally beat up that is a different story. Malvin
  20. I just posted a JR JR page from the Ghost Rider, Wolverine and Punisher special. The closing page too! CAF Link Malvin
  21. I was able to get another great Animal Man page from the Grant Morrison Run! CAF Link Thanks for looking! Malvin
  22. Thanks to both of you, especially you Sean. I read the list online and had missed Dell's reply! Malvin
  23. Hi Folks, I just uploaded a couple of great Jim Cheung Young Avengers pages (original miniseries) CAF Gallery Link - http://cafurl.com?i=161 One of them has 3 inkers credited. It also looks like it was signed by the inker (don't recognize the sig, and it's not Jim Cheung's) but i can't figure out which of the inkers did it. If anyone knows, please let me know so I can give them proper credit. Regards, Malvin
