  1. I wonder how Jason is doing these days. I remember his wife coming to the boards shortly after he stopped posting. Didn't he sell his Avengers books before his divorce? I forgot that Mrs. SUfunk came onto the Boards.
  2. That's an interesting and enlightening perspective.

  4. Bought two short boxes this morning, inexpensively. Didn't even look inside the boxes before buying them after I saw about ten 1970s Marvels pictured on Facebook Marketplace. Looked high grade.

  6. Not sure why you quoted me to post this. You're welcome to add the thread to the conversation--in fact, it's one of the threads I looked at when deciding on the 8300. My endorsement of the 8300 is from personal use scanning CGC slabs exclusively and irrespective of any threads on the subject. Just to give the OP different opinions.
  7. Did The Walking Dead bubble burst yet? I haven't been paying attention.
  8. I don't recall where I got it but I know it wasn't eBay.
  9. I do not have my two versions right in front of me, these pictures will show the difference. Although unrecognized by CGC yet the Printing of the Chromium Covers was still new at the time and with the volume they printed there were errors. The most distinctive and seen is what appears to be a golden hue to the chromium. Then there are some that this hue is also accompanied by a transparency to the chromium as it didn't properly affix to the inside of the cover. These come in varying degrees. Here are examples of the two next to each other . The correct chromium and the error. Thanks for the pictures! Here's my copy with a different error.
  10. That sounds really cool! I’d love to see it. Is it from the LaFargue Clinic? I really can't recall. It's been a couple of years. Let me check if it's in my ComicLink history.
