  1. I feel really bad for everyone who submitted bulk and economy in Dec. Mine was all submitted right before the Feb price increase, so I pretty much saw the writing on the wall for my stuff. I really hope you get scheduled in the next week or so. The final stretch can be the most nerve-wracking, at least for me. The emotional attachment to the personal collection cards is very real, as it is with most collectibles.
  2. Looking forward to seeing them! I get why you're a little anxious, guarantee it will be like the best Christmas ever when you them them back.
  3. The obvious guess: Base 1st ed Charizard, shadowless Charizard, unlimited Charizard, and 4th print Charizard. That would be a hard set to send in for grading, just cause the grading fees would be through the roof.
  4. I would love to see an area dedicated to buy/sell/trade! I'm a mom, I can handle any young ruffians who can't follow the rules.
  5. Those are some amazingly beautiful cards, thanks for sharing them! The commentary is awesome too. I haven't collected any newer cards since WOTC days, and the submissions I am waiting on are mostly 1st ed cards for my personal collection sets, with a few doubles to try and recoup some of my grading costs. I did impulsively buy a Champions Path ETB a couple of months ago, finally opened and realized $10 in value cards wasn't worth $50. Call me frugal. Kept the sealed card and gave the rest away. I love watching the box openings of old and new on youtube though, the hits are always fun to see. I think this CoroCoro Mew would be my fave card from the standard submission I just got back, would like to come up with a appropriate custom frame to display some of these slabs in.
  6. USPS. My post office ladies told me that registered mail is a lot slower than priority because everyone who handles the package has to sign off on it. Luckily I'm in Florida so mine only takes 2 days to or from CGC.
  7. Standard w/subgrades (24) Received 2/10/21 Scheduled for grading 3/12/21 Finalized/Imaged/Shipped 3/18/21 Will check back in June to see how bulk and economy is coming along.
  8. I am happy to see you are using CGC to grade your collection! Hoping you get some 10's, they have been hard to find so far with the old WOTC cards.
  9. Mine is 24 cards, mostly 1st ed WOTC, so you are probably right.
  10. My standard with subgrades received 2/10 is still in received status. I'm bummed, lol.
  11. I haven't read anything regarding potential upcharges like PSA does if a graded value of a card exceeds the value declared on the submission. I've heard on a Facebook group that this does happen with CGC. Is this accurate? Edit: I did just read on the Service Terms:"Customer represents and warrants to each Company that the Declared Value set forth on the Submission Form represents Customer’s good faith belief as to the market value of the collectible. If a Company determines that collectibles are undervalued, it will adjust the Services and fees according to its determination of the fair market value of the collectible. However, Company will not adjust the Declared Value stated by the Customer." So my question instead would be "Is fair market value determination based on before or after grading?"
