  1. Sports card collectors also get a nice forum of their own. Lucky guys, lol. https://boards.csgcards.com/
  2. This is what happens when quantity becomes more important than quality. CGC, please don't return my submissions with scuff marks on them from poor packaging. Offer an option, even at an additional cost to me, for better packaging at least. Thank you.
  3. I hope you call customer service and provide them pics of the damaged slabs. No one wants to get scratched and dinged up slabs back. I doubt posting on this forum will make any positive impact.
  4. Unless they run out of warehouse space I am guessing CGC will continue to take in everything they can get. Why wouldn't they?
  5. For reference: https://www.cgccomics.com/legal/terms-and-conditions/
  6. As unlimited base set, probably not cards you would want to grade. But the Machamp, being sealed, is a sought after collectible.
  7. Didn't even mention the truckloads of modern cards that everyone, their brother, and all their friends are sending in.:) I predict a buyers market for slabs when millions of cards get returned in the next year or so.
  8. That's what I'm guessing. Curious though, if maybe vintage Japanese has a different algorithm or something like that. And yeah, being my fav card, it isn't going anywhere.
  9. Sooo....who knows why this card got the grade it did? Seems as though it should have been an 8. Not that I'm complaining, of course.
  10. I would guess off center. If there was an alignment dot it would be a minor miscut.
  11. Congratulations. Your long journey is coming to an end. Have to admit, I will kind of miss your complaining posts, lol. May your shipping be fast.
  12. Congrats on an awesome card! Mine came back an 8, but with a light binder ring dent I was super happy with the grade. https://www.cgccomics.com/certlookup/3783372002/
  13. I have a 1st ed Neo Genesis Typhlosion with a similar mark. I have no idea if it's somewhat normal or not, but your final 8.5 is a grade to be happy about, for sure.
  14. Beat me to it....what I had just typed up: Any chance we can get a data ONLY - no discussion pinned thread for the following? Fill in as applicable: Submission Type: Delivered: Received: Scheduled for Grading: Grading/Quality Control: Finalized/Imaged/Shipped: Buzzetta has a great post above, and it's definitely worthy of it's own thread for discussion.
  15. I've donated some of mine to a family who does foster care, they were appreciative. I've also heard food banks will take opened boxes, as long as the cereal is sealed.
  16. Luckily the cereal should be good for a year or so, so you have some time to figure it out.
  17. OMG! That's so funny! Just so you know tho, the actual Pokemon cereal doesn't have cards. Still a collectible box tho. Be happy you have kids, lol.
  18. *My local Walmart anyways, I can't speak for anywhere else. I won't even show you how many boxes I have, and still missing one card. Uggh. But I got the Ponyta, so all is good.
  19. I didn't get the decimal point wrong, lol. The cereal is still available at WM, for $3.67, and with one pikachu in every pack. The Galarian Ponyta is the chase card from the set, I think.
  20. Sometimes, when the same thing keeps being said over and over I surmise the person saying it feels that what they are saying is not being heard, or understood. Or it's just their nature to be mean and argumentative. Who knows. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  21. A 2021 card valued around $3.50...hmmm...I'm gonna guess the GM Pikachu holo. Very cute card with the 25th anniversary stamp, and lots of possible 9-10 grades.
