From Comic Heaven and that-man-of-few-words, John Verzyl, a super copy (top census!) of Daring Mystery #5 ... :whee:

  2. It's been a long time since I acquired anything for myself, but I'm real happy to have gotten my hands on these.

The only negative is that I sold my other More Fun and other two Pre-Robin Tec's about a year and a half ago when life took an unexpected turn.

  3. i love this cover, and was looking at jive's high-grade copy up for sale in the market. then i saw this one ending in a couple mins on ebay, and realized you'e not really a comic collector if you don't have a batman and superman book in your collection--i have a batman, my sherwood copy, but no supe-----'til now.

    Umm....you do realize that's a DC right?

  4.

#8 would be my next choice, but it will apparently take a lot MOAR mewing to locate one in grade.

BTW, that was an awesome bunch of Silver Streaks, Billy. [/size] (worship)

I've found issue 8 to be really tough Cat.I've looked for over a decade and the only nice copy I've seen was the 7.0 Heritage had.(Wish I would've bid more on that one though doh! ) Hopefully you'll have better luck than me.I've just about given up and resigned myself to this beater copy.
