Cheetah inspired me to go through my junk and see if there was anything I had forgotten to scan.
I came up with one...
That's some lovely junk Richard. (thumbs u

-
my 5 is just fine--came from russell.
I can't recall how you talked me out of that one counselor
-
Gorgeous book Steve! Sure looks like Lamont's old copy still has bone white pages.
-
This thread has been dormant way too long. Here's a couple modest Zip's.
Anyone else?
Love them both Chris! and that 3 is just dreamy
-
Why haven't you sold those to Russ?
Thanks for looking out for me Pons
Now if only you could remember where those Larson Zips you once had went..
-
Did some good old fashioned horse trading today, and picked up these 2 books:
Schomburg is a god-
Wow Steve that book is amazing! I really love the early Schomburg covers that resemble pulps.Congrats!!
-
and while I was gone this came in from Russ.
except for the holes, this book is killer!!
I knew you'd love the book once it was in your hands. It really is a stunning book if you don't mind the stitching holes.
-
Thanks Geeks! It would not have been possible without the incredible generosity of the kindest geek amongst us.
My generosity only goes so far. You'll have to fork over the cash before it leaves my vault.

Not a comic, and not yet in hand, but the deal has been struck! I usually wait until it is in my hot little hands, but I am so excited about getting this grail piece that I just had to share it.
It's Fate I tell you!!
Thanks to one of my favorite geeks for working out a fine deal on this page from All Star Comics #14. It features my favorite character from the More Fun Comics series (Dr. Fate) battling the Germans in WWII. Fate is in every panel to boot
I love golden age art
:cloud9:
I'm sad to see it go,but happy it's going to you Bill. You're the only guy I know that likes Dr.Fate as much as I do.Enjoy it geek!

Fantastic book Richard! Remember the double cover copy of that book I traded you years ago? I wish I could get that one back..
-
Here's a book I picked up a couple of days ago. It's one of those books where you try to find a decent presentable copy without buying the whole store.
I bought this from "The Gator" and I appreciate him working with me on this book, thanks Rick!!! (thumbs u
That sure is a pretty 6.0!!
-
Wonderful group of books! I think the Science 4 stands out from the rest with it's bright red cover.
-
Wow 10 yrs ago,I can't believe it's been that long.. Either I'm incredibly slow at finding books on my want list or it's really rare.
-
Thanks Richard.Ever since I thumbed up your gorgeous copy I've been after my own.
-
Here is one of my favorite books I purchased in Chicago this year.I'd been looking for an unrestored copy for several years, and it was worth the wait. The interior is chock full of obscure Timely heroes.
-
been wanting to upgrade my daring 1 for awhile; finally found the right one. my very most favoritest timely cover.
Wow what an upgrade! So happy for you
-
I find your entire collection, especially your Tecs, very appealing
Then next time you're up this way, you'll have to spend a night and get further acquainted.
-
My laziness or the Detectives?
-
Do you have a favorite out of your run?
29 is my favorite cover, but the 35 is my favorite book in the run I own. It's just an amazing copy out of the mylar.
-
Nice run you got there, Russ. Yup, Tec 28's are hard to find. Actually, all DC's cover dated June 1939 are scarce.
I think Tec 28's right now are the most undervalued of all the pre-Robin Tecs. Anyone want to take a stab at the FMV for a low-grade copy?
I think unrestored Tec 28's will see a significant upward correction in the next few years. Many collectors who had set their sights on owning a Tec 27, are now discovering that it's out of their price range...permanently. Naturally they end up going for the next best thing...the next earliest appearance.
Thank you,I've been working on it for some time.
I agree, the 28 does seem undervalued, especially by guide.I would guess that an unrestored 2.0 copy may push past the 5K barrier.

but, where is the 33
insufficient funds..
Have a Cigar! Golden Age only....!
