4.0 SP undercopy about to go on sale.
Very cool book,congrats!
-
I did not pass up on it, I had it for a number of years. It has since been reunited with the rest of the MH run.
West
Reunited MH Zip run, what a sight that would be West,I hope you at least get visitation rights for letting the 32 go.

I got this in (from a different source)...I regretfully passed on the Church copy many a year ago, so it's nice to finally get any copy in (even lower grade).
Oh yeah, I Love that cover! Any copy at all is great, but the Church copy must have been out of this world.
-
well, at least this is one run you won't have to worry about me on (thumbs u
can I get that in writing?
-
nice zips; i'm glad i'm keeping a couple out of my now aborted attempt to get 1-35.
I'm happy you kept a few also.Of course I'm secretly happier that you decided not to collect the run anymore, because I don't need the competition.

Here's one I picked up from Graham Crackers at Terry's Con today - thnx to Jamie who cut me a fair deal on it.
Not a book that I'd normally buy a double on (I now have a VG undercopy), but I can't ever recall seeing a single staple MLJ this nice (white pages, too).
Love the Zip Steve! I was lucky enough to get one from the same collection via Jamie.I think I may have overpaid for mine, but it's so tough to find them in nice shape, let alone with white pages!

Wow,seems like only yesterday when you decided to chase the pedigrees.I know you had the Caps and the MM 12 for a long time, but which book was your 1st new pedigree specifically purchased for the set?
It's just wonderful to see them all on one thread Billy, you must be very proud.
-
because you're such a trendsetter, we are all your competition for anything you're after; we hear it's on your radar, and we're right behind you.
I've been called many things(erroneous comes to mind),but I'm certain trendsetter is not on the list.
-
Nice to see who my competition is on the Zips .Congrats on a tough issue to locate, and I hope you break it out and fully enjoy!
-
Love the Subby Steve! In case you've thought about cracking it out,I just read an Angel story in another early issue and it was tremendous.

You guys and gals know how much I love Black Cat Comics, so you can probably guess how excited I am to have landed these two pages of original art. These were a treat to myself for my birthday.
Those are wonderful pages,congrats Bill!
-
I see you finally got to Jim... Congrats Steve!! It's a fantastic book.
-
if he is, I hear through the grapevine that a run of 1-10 just might be coming up
as a lot or individual issues?
-
Wasn't really planning on going after the run. I did think about trying to track down a #4 though....
That would make a great pair. The 4 can be challenging to find, but I beleive Bruno M. had one(retsored) in Chicago this year.
-
Beauty Roy!
I love the Mystics. It's a great little run for so many reasons. So are you going after them all?
-
I fell in love with this book when I saw it this past weekend in Baltimore. Our own Mr Bedrock brought a few Timelys for me to take a look at and I had to pull the trigger on this one. Not exactly the # I look for in the top left corner but then I realized the reason I chase high #'s is because I want them all to look like this book.
Thanks Richard,
Jim
Beautiful MM! Gotta love how Subby is multi-tasking on that cover.
-
Beautiful! I love that Zolnerowich cover Billy. It's starting to look like I'll be able to see the complete rivet set when I visit in October..
-
WOW that's beautiful!

Recent pickup in Chicago. Always think this is one of the best Cap fight covers.
Love it Chris.Easily one of the best Caps imho.

was fearful wonder 1 & 2 were going to be like a-man 25 & 26 [i.e., never going to be in my collection]. but thanks to a boardie, this skin is on the wall. now i'll have to redouble my efforts on the 2.
Attaboy Parker! Wish I still had my 2 from years ago,it would be fun to work on a trade.
