Wow!!! I love the early sci-fi exciting covers. Tough books to find
Here's his little buddy, two issues later. The colors are unbelievable.
I know people really start digging this run once the Black Terror appears, and I don't blame them, but the mini-run before #6 (when the inking on the covers gets too heavy) really floats my boat.
Stunning! Anyone who can't understand the multiples paid for Church books should take a look at this one.And remember it's just a scan, imagine it in hand

Zolnerowich did few recreations...but the guy could draw. I put him in a class with Lou Fine and Murphy Anderson.....jb
Wow that's an amazing recreation Jon! I like how he added a few things, like the front of the rocket ship.
-
that last one put me over 1/3 toward the 1-22 old logo run, so here is the fledgling planet collection, in order.
That's a fantastic stack Billy! Can't go wrong with rivets in the logo.
-
Nice job Billy. You'll have the run complete faster than River Tam can take out a band of Reavers
Firefly Gorgeous Wow too Pons!
-
(though they have a dog!)
Two...but little Sara is smaller than a slab.
The basenji must of lifted his leg on the MH Yankee when Billy wasn't looking.

Thanks Guys, I really only wanted one, but they were in a box lot, now I can't decide which ones I need to keep...Does anyone have the number of the nearest chapter of Comics Anonymous? ?
Very cool volumes Sharon. When you get the info on the Comics Anonymous, see if you can get a group rate.I need a lot of help too..
Two new additions.

Love them all Pons. It's a blast watching which way your collection will go next. The BB 54 is stellar, and I kinda like that crummy Fantastic 8 too

The first of these I have posted before, but I thought I should post them together with the newest arrival.

Very jealous of these two Pons..Wonderful books

with your magnificent presence,I'll hardly even miss Parker.

And at last, I have the perfect copy, for me, of one of my favorite books. This is my fifth copy. I've always wanted a nice copy of this book, and since Richard won't be selling his 9.4 anytime soon, this is the one for me!!!
Thanks Billy
Beauty Pons!! I know how much you love that one.So I take it Parker has a new book as well then?

Congrats to Jim (cgcworld - or timelyworld!). Killer books.
Nice pick-up Roy...oh, and the Marvel 9 is pretty cool too.
Ponseti even scored a little Toro appearance while I was away. Attaboy Bill!
Here is a newbie...
Sweetness is to the war zone in high grade
-
Bill: I agree with the rest that is a gorgeous #7 and I love that cover. I've always felt that the covers for #5,#7 and #13 are like a little mini set, and would look breathtaking beside each other as a subset.
Jim
I ran with your idea Jim,and wowza they look pretty together!
