eh I think marvel books (most of them not all) are way over hyped. I have keys from both but marvel always felt as though it was the same thing over and over again with similar characters and events while DC felt like a tv show that could be from horror all the way to a sitcom you know? I love Avengers, FF and some X-men but daredevil is a lackluster hero, Captain America at the end of the day is lack luster with not many interesting villains besides Dr Doom and redskull. I cant even name any other good villain for them tbh.

I mean the same could be said about the X-men or FF. Heck even wolverine. I think you are giving marvel to much credit. I do have key issues from both but I think that everyone can safely say that the top three everyone knows are Superman, Batman and spiderman. DC holds the top superheros in family homes. My niece even knows superman before spiderman and batman because of the new kids show.

I am a 22 year old and I have a better connection to superman then I do to batman. Batman is to realistic and not something I can get lost in while superman and the other DC heros are just simply from another world (Not a pun) but like how its impossible to become one of them which makes it interesting to me. If I wanna escape life I grab a superman book. you know? sometimes batman is just to real.

DC is not dead. I personally only by marvel books for $$ and to flip 😂 I have no attachment to marvel at all but DC books I have close and dear to my heart! It will hit a point when DC will over take Marvel. It will come around just like everything else. I would take a DC Golden age book over a timely book any day if the week! I love the big banner Action Comics and Superman books! I don't like or dislike batman but he doesn't do anything for me. He is ight when compared to the superman covers! I do own Timely books and marvel keys but that's only for $$ and my PC if I really wanted it.

So a 2.5 sold for $600 so I am heavily considering of getting this book graded!!! Thoughts on grade! I have it set as 2.5/3.0 only nothing higher because of the color missing on the Z from Zip. And the UNITED STATES MILITARY service state posted on the cover! This book went over seas during the war! The front page has a store stamp. From my owl paper quality tool I saw it's Off-White-White. (6 on the census)

I mean the direct market is basically dead... in terms of new readers and new books when so many titles being removed or cancelled is bad for the hobby. No new collectors means the hobby is going to die... I saw someone do a video about it on youtube and it raised a lot of interseting points which does not look so good.

I press my own books and I practiced on some 50¢-$5 books but now am pressing my big books and they come out beautiful! However, I don't know how to press Magazines due to the covers being thicker and I have no idea how to press the big Life Magazines! Since they don't fit

I agree with you 150%. Am not right leaning but am not left leaning. Am an American and I value the rights nd privileges that are granted to me and those who live in this Amazing country! His thing is "why do the japanese have to be yellow with buck teeth with line eyes." I say "becasue they killed 3k people and attack us first? And started WW2?" Then he brings up Whitewash from Kid Komics from the Timely run and Young allies and then goes extreme saying it should be destoryed and lost. I say "we keep the concentration camp along with slaves original homes should we destory those for being extreme and how they were treated?" Then it usually ends with him screaming. I told him that we should just be acquaintances and no longer Communicate due to the amount of stress and drama it brings with being his friend.

The only thing I will say is to teach your kid to keep their mouths shut in college. I learned the hard way that being different or even going against the professor will result in either a bad grade or them making your life hell. And people now a days are extremely sensitive so even messing around like a normal dude will result in him being the black sheep of the class. Being a black sheep I also would know means no one else helps you in group projects and they purposely ignore you. His best bet if he does go to college is just go to class make some friends but stay under the radar! Someone as experience with the new way of things. I said Oriental in my history class when discussing the rape of nanjing and dear God. They looked at me like I was Racist even tho I am part Oriental.
