It's possible that Mark is on a plane to get home.
Yes, according to his itinerary he is presenting his lecture
"From Cave Art To Superheroes: Comic Books & Social Commentary"
On Delta Flight 422 from 6:30 to 7:00 PM this evening.
Admission is free and peanuts and soda will be made available during the show.

Note that this is also the place to organize forum get togethers, and even to have discussion threads related specifically to events. e.g. "Has anyone been to XXXX? Is it good for golden age stuff?"
Regards,
Arch
I have been to XXXX and it is good for golden age stuff!

I'm thinking this thread could use a poll.
I'll take a poll to see if a poll would a good idea.

That is disturbing...but in a good way.
Did you do that by hand, or with some nifty push-button thing? Great effect!
It is done by hand in Adobe Photoshop and After Effects.
Another one from last year.

How many guesses do we get?
Lets not play guessing games when a man's reputation is at stake.

Thanks for the comments. Some of the pictures and ideas for this thread were
supplied by an anonymous forumite who is in the real estate business and is in
the Pigeon Forge, Tennessee area. We have obscured his photo to protect his

Congratulations to Transplant for coming in a close second. In the event that Tupenny
cannot fulfill his duties as Employee of the Month, Transplant will be awarded that honor.

The Forum dinner back rub is where Tupenny shined.

Crowd-favorite DocWatson's refusal to participate in the morning morale-building
calisthenics cost him dearly.
-
Early front-runner roy1970d dropped out of contention when he spent most of his time
on Sunday working on his con-report.

Congratulations to our own Tupenny Conan for winning the prestigious
Dale Robert's Employee of the Month for October!

+1We've been hearing of BZ's renewed appreciation of Bob Powell's work and BB's liking of the entire M.E.'s line. I think Powell's best work for M.E. was his Cave Girl stuff. I receive this one a couple of days ago: Cave Girl against some Amazons The others I've had for a while -Cave Girl is one of my favorite GA titles.

If it's the same Frank Thomas, then he was a giant in the animation industry. He was
at Disney during their Golden Era working on Snow White, Pinocchio, Fantasia,
Bambi, 101 Dalmations, etc.
Oops, different Frank Thomas.
