I get an email from MCS letting me know that I have an offer, and the amount. I log into my account and can respond to the offer there. It's possible that the offers you made got stuck in the consignor's spam filter. Or they didn't like the offers and ignored them.

Thanks! I think I'm just gonna grab it for the full asking price. I don't think it was an offensive offer.:banana:It was less than 10% off and I just like round numbers. LOL.

If I buy it though, does MCS have the book already in possession or do they have to contact the seller and have them ship to them and then they ship to me?

  2. Hey @Ryan.! I was trying to search for MyComicShop on here and stumbled upon your thread. I see you are consigning with them.

If someone makes an offer on their website, how do they contact you? I was going to email MCS or try to find them on here but I made an offer twice on a consigned book and it just expired again. Wondering if they just couldn't reach the consignor. Kinda anticlimactic. Sorry to bug. Good luck with the sales!

Ah, didn't realize that was an option.

On a side note regarding USPS, sometimes I find that USPS can be bad at scanning things in even when they have received it. I once dropped off a package at the post office that didn't get scanned in until the day it was out for delivery at the destination branch. It was stuck in the label-printed/waiting-to-be-dropped-off-at-the-post-office status for over a week.  (still frustrating nonetheless)

Guess someone wanted to surprise you.

  4. So for those that don't know me, I was heavily influenced by 70s and 80's B&W self-published Indie comics. Grendel and Comico comics being my favorite. Discovered such titles as Nerve, Go-Man, Northguard, The Jam, Eagle, Grips, the Crow and eventually learned of the almighty Cerebus. So I see Dave Sim originally had been published in a title called Power Comics. Looks like that ran 5 issues. Have an opportunity to pick up the first issue for like $10 and then I see a set available for $45. I already feel like I should grab these simply because they seem right up my alley. But then I also wanted to see if anyone on here has ever read these and what they thought of them. Especially some Canucks.:451621943_canadianbananaflaggif:

Yes I agree, though my query is not really about its monetary value but its grade. I think that I am a pretty decent grader (for a Brit) but I've never come across this before and don't know where to start grading wise.

You need to supply more pictures. Need to see the back and without the glare. Otherwise it's an NG.
