  1. Very, VERY COOL .... and at the same time HOT
  2. I remember seeing this one and thinking that you were lucky to have gotten it
  3. This is really cool Even my girlfriend would love this
  4. This list isn't "bogus" in any way. It is simply a list of CGC graded San Francisco Tom Reilly books graded to date, as kept by West. It isn't meant to represent the entire contents of the collection. I personally have stated that I am in no way an expert and don't pretend to be. I'm just a collector who enjoys this "pedigree" and the freshness of the comics it contains. To be clear, it's me Bob, Jim Elsenpeter, who you've done business with for at least 2 decades. You and I have actually talked about the collection in person, in Minneapolis and Chicago. You may get a kick out of this, but I just so happened to buy 2 comics from Bob Selvig last weekend at the Minnesota 2-day show. Neither, however were Reilly copies. As much as I would have liked to, I didn't mention the Reilly collection. I DID talk to him about it a few years ago and he no longer has ANY of the books. I have told you this in the past Bob, but I will now do so publicly: Thank you for finding this collection and bringing it to the masses!! We all appreciate it and the information about it that you've shared over the years!! (thumbs u
  5. I think this is the last of the U.S.A.'s you've got left that came from me. Some decent amateur work on it. One more time, if you upgrade, let me know
  6. ANOTHER of my old books!! I bought it from O'Leary's at the Chicago comic show in 1995, I do believe. Again, if you upgrade, just put it in the mail to me (thumbs u
  7. My old copy!! I REALLY want this one back when you upgrade Billy boy!!!
  8. VERY cool I agree with it being a piece of history and one of a kind. You'd never have to look far for a buyer
  9. I think he's doing fantastic! None of the high quality GA collections I'm aware of were put together over night. It usually takes a decade or two to assemble a critical mass but even then you have to keep slogging for each little gain. Nor was it very easy to do prior to the advent of CGC and the internet based commercial venues. These have really matured in the last few years as we are seeing enormous quantities of high quality GA books regularly coming up for sale, many for the first time. I do realize that certain items may be locked away in long-held collections and others may have sky-rocketed in price, but I still feel that even if I started over today I would still find interesting books in the condition I like at a price I can afford. agreed. i've been having a ball with the raboy addiction these last two years, and have done it pretty economically. I concur. It's only been within the last few years that I've been looking for high grade books and have had many to choose from, certainly enough to exhaust my available cash (thumbs u
