For the VAAAAAASSSSSTTTTTT majority of books it doesn't matter as there was only ever one printing. For the books that have had second printings there are no hard and fast rules and, on occasion, the differences between printings are esoteric.

Wha do you mean you just got that piece in email? Are they using it as an example of Dave Ross's Commision art work? Cool! Exactly what he's doing. I got about a dozen examples of his commission art to put on the site as fanfare is still handling his original comic art.

I JUST got that piece in an email. I help out my art rep, Bob Shaw, with his web site and he just added Dave Ross to the site. Very cool piece.

I've REALLY got to get a fables page. As for me, as I pointed out on my blog, I won this JRjr Daredevil page last night. That made me happy.

It's got the same director (The Shaw Brother's mad genius Chang Cheh) and practically the same cast. Five Element Ninja is the better film, for my money (and I've given that question more thought than probably 99.9999% of the world's population)

I like Yojimbo because of what it spawned in Japanese cinema in the years that followed. If I were to choose based on the films themselves, without the extra reference, I'd likely agree with you. Either that or Ran.

Which is why it would be "one and done" for me. Yojimbo would probably be my first choice, but I love his films so much I could go pretty far down the list and probably still be extremely happy.

No, it's regtangle, it's just the angle of the photograph. It's an original. I wanted one example from the series and that one caught my eye. I'm still contemplating spending real money for a Zatoichi Meets Yojimbo poster and eventually I need to get a good Kurosawa example.

As I mentioned when i saw you today- Really nice page! I bought a page of Detective art from Norm Breyfolge. Really nice guy,by the way. He talked to me about my art, etc. before he set up, which was awesome and his prices for his own work were more than reasonable.
