I picked up 8 or 9 more Dave Stevens cover books yesterday at the Dallas Comicon. Couldn't find any for a buck as most dealers had all of them marked up. But I still only paid $2-$3 each for most of them and they're high grade stuff.

I think you already know this Scott, but my ultimate end-all goal is to have a complete ASM slab run (1 thru present, Giant-Size 1 thru 6 and all of the Annuals). They won't all have to be high grade slabs either. And I'm about 50% of the way there right now.

I just received a sweet Conan #24 CGC 9.0 in the mail from Adam. The book was well packaged and arrived in pretty good time from Canada. Thanks again Adam!

Is this X-Men #303 Gold Edition just hard to find period or hard to find in high grade? I'm pretty sure I have one at the storage unit. I see now on eBay it's the Pressman game variant? I did find one at the storage unit. Here's mine (guessing 9.0-9.2):

I just got a Strange Suspense Stories #75 CGC 9.2 back from CGC today that's the same way. No artist or cover notes, no Steve Ditko note, nothing. Maybe CGC's typewriter can't shift to the left side of the label anymore.

I've read that before. Talk about a scorned lover situation. Everything this girl is saying happened may very well be true, but if one thing ticks me off is that they always seem to write and publish this stuff only AFTER the guy dies. So he's not here to defend himself in any way. So she could be perfectly legit or she could be a total psycho like Aggiez just said. With her we're only hearing one side of the story.
