Same boat here. They'be been stuck at May 16th for a month now. Not entirely sure what they are doing in Fla. Apparently they are working weekends but don't seem to be making any progress... Frustrating Sounds like it's time to hire more people. We all know CGC is the Cadillac of comic book grading services, but they should be concerned about their long turnaround times. They can only rest on their laurels so long. After awhile, I can see them possibly losing market share to other grading services (even though we know they're inferior to CGC) unless their processing time improves. Just because you're the best right now doesn't mean you'll always be the best. There is too much history of great companies eventually going under because they got complacent. Here's hoping that doesn't happen with CGC.

I think you'd get a blue label with a note 'Barry Smith written on first page'. Green labels are for unwitnessed cover sigs. Oh, and great book! Mark - I agree with AJD. I think this will get a blue label. Send 'er in!

Finally got around to grading and scanning these. Looks like they're all in 9.0-9.2 condition:

It sounds to me like a slight lack of communication. He was busy with other people and didn't know how many books you took out. It sounds like he was working with you since he dropped the price from $90 to $80 then $70. Did you actually tell him you took about 1/2 of the books out?

WOW! Some VERY nice books in there!

There are 4 local Vintage Stock stores in the Oklahoma City area and they're all having a labor day weekend sale today thru Monday. Buy one comic and get one free. I picked up all 39 of these books, all in sweet condition (except the Conan #24) for under $100. Needless to say, I'm going back again tomorrow.

Wow...that's probably the biggest difference in grades between the outside cover and inside cover that I have ever seen on a CGC double cover issue. Nah, you have seen my my X-Men #283, CGC outer cover 2.0, inner cover 9.8 Christian....I don't remember that one. I guess you'll have to post it again.
