I would say speculation Confirmation of Apocalypse means Sinister is highly likely. I have a good reason for asking. I have a few NM+ copies of X-Men #221 and X-Men #239 (Mister Sinister on cover).

Nice pickups all around Were these from a LCS? Love to pick up some of those JSC ASM's for cover. I actually picked them up from a local Vintage Stock store. They continue to overlook some of the semi-key and hot books and throw them in their top bins for $3-4 each. Much to my satisfaction.

Yeah. I consider myself lucky to have obtained 2 copies of the Manifest Destiny #1 1st printing for under $30 each.

What's the big deal with that? The only thing I can think of is "early Dreadstar" or "First Full Dreadstar" but wouldn't Epic 1-2 be better options since EI 1/2 are officially noted online as the first app of Dreadstar? My vote is for Epic 1. That I have half a magazine box of these has absolutely no bearing on my analysis. +1 I have 9 copies of Epic Illustrated #1 but only 1 copy of #3. And 6 of the 9 #1 copies still have the Stan Lee letter/questionaire with it.

Invincible #110 does have a rape scene in it where Grayson is raped by a woman (not Eve). Alpha Flight V2 #17 is heating up because of an upcoming Disney film about Big Hero 6 (1st appearance was in this comic).

Yeah...that just doesn't make any sense to me. Why would you have Stan Lee sign a DC book? Spend a buck and at least buy some kind of Marvel comic for him to sign. I never did understand having someone sketch a Marvel character on a DC blank cover comic and vice-versa. I know some people think it's OK, but I could never do that myself and feel right about it.

It's so good looking…its almost an 8.0….but not quite! You wouldn't believe how stinking beautiful this book is. No visible flaws anywhere. Do you have pre-slabbing scans? I believe I have a front cover scan of the raw book. I received the slab today so I'll post front and back cover scans tomorrow. Here's the front cover scan raw (the dirt specks you see are from my scanner and not on the book): And here's the slabbed scans (front and back): If I hold the slab up to the light, I can make out 1 tiny spine bend and a small top edge bend on the front cover. Other than that, it appears to be clean.
