  3. You need a subscription to GPA (www.comics.gpanalysis.com). They track actual sales of CGC graded comics from various online venues (eBay, Heritage, etc.). It's the best place to determine what a particular book in a certain grade is selling for. And you'll find lots of CGC graded comics at the Heritage Comics website, Comiclink and here on the boards in the Marketplace area. And welcome to the boards!
  4. Thanks, I'm lovin' it! And as I promised- IF I ever decide/need to sell this, I'll contact you first And me second... I'll make like the Chevy commercial and say "No! It's mine!"
  5. How much is it to press the comic? We'll let Joey answer that question....
  6. Looks more like it stands for Elvis Force to me.
  7. Great humor is hard to come by. Think of all the quality sc-fi/fantasy/horror comics that come out each month compared to humorous comics. It is really difficult to write great comedy so when something like this comes along the rise in value is justified. I enjoy this book because the buzz is generates is not artificially created by 3D variants and other gimmicks. I just bought a copy of Todd #1 and just read it. Loved the humor and I'm now thinking of buying the whole series.
  8. It looks just like the cover of this Hulk paperback book from 1966. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Incredible-Hulk-Paperback-1960s-VF-NM-Monterey-Copy-/350759690361?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item51aae82079
  9. I wonder if just the J. Scott Campbell cover #601 will be hot or if it will apply to the other 1st printing cover and/or the Quesada 2nd printing cover as well.....
  10. Looks like some nice books there. It seems a lot of people got some great deals this weekend.
  11. Not a flea market find but I got a very pleasant surprise today. Our local Vintage Stock stores were having a Labor Day weekend sale. All comics are buy one get one free. I picked up 20-30 cheap books on Friday and decided to go back again today. I normally come in from the north but this time came from the other direction. There's a Half Price Books store just to the south of the Vintage Stock so I thought "what the hell" and popped in there first. They normally have a lot of Copper and Modern Age comics so I go in there rather infrequently. So I was very surprised - no, SHOCKED - to see a bunch of Tales of Suspense books in there between issues 48-96 at very nice prices. I also found a Thor #126 and a number of nice Justice League issues between 19 and 106. And to top it all off everything in the store was 20% off. Here's the list: Tales of Suspense #48, 54, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 66, 72, 73, 75, 85, 86, 91, 96 Thor #126 Justice League of America #19, 45, 87, 88, 90, 92, 99, 103, 104, 105, 106 Some of the TOS and JLA are so nice I'm considering sending some of them in for CGC grading. I'll post some pics/scans later this evening. (thumbs u
  12. Very nice book and welcome to the boards. (thumbs u
  13. Not bad? Those are wonderful grades. Congratulations!
  14. Yeah. All 6 local Vintage Stock stores sell new comics and they'll order books for you too.
  15. It sure is a good thing I don't pay any attention to this thread. I picked up 3 copies of Catwoman #23 today at a LCS, 4 more are coming from eBay and I have 5 more on order from a local Vintage Stock store.
