  1. Ed just bought 3 early ASM slabs from my latest sales thread and paid lightning fast. Easy guy to deal with on purchases. Thanks again Ed!
  2. why is everyone attacked except flash? Because he and Supes don't have any of their own weapons.
  3. We moved to Oklahoma 3 years ago and I actually saw 2 different black widow spiders at our old rental house in Midwest City. After I caught one I read online where it said you shouldn't try to catch them.
  4. Like Mike said, you have to pay for the service. If someone did say it was free they were wrong. Two completely different companies.
  5. You must have a ton of Spider-Woman 9.8s now. Is your want list up-to-date (besides these 5)?
  6. That is a sharp looking 8.0. I agree. When I sent it in I was expecting it back at a minimum 9.0-9.2. I saw no noticable flaws when I sent it in. When I got it back there was a small color breaking crease at the bottom right corner of the front cover. I might have missed it but I don't think so. I think the HOM #174 got hammered too.
  7. I have no idea why this is a key (I'm new to comics outside of knowing DC and Marvel) but wow, that is an amazing cover and an awesome book! Congrats! Thanks! Comico was a much beloved indy publisher for us children of the 80s. Primer 2 was THE issue to own from them, and has remained a fan favorite even after 30 years. It was the first appearance of Matt Wagner's Grendel, the character equivalent of, I guess, Wolverine for them. All early Grendel appearances were going for big money back then. But this issue was the crème de la crème. And yes, very cool cover. Black border makes it especially difficult to find without spine tics & creases. Tiny print run as well. All adds up to being a key issue from that era. And some people think a spine stress automatically excludes a book from 9.8 status. There is a stress right on the FC of this. And some people are just haters... I really don't think he's trying to be a "hater". I think he was simply pointing out that there are 9.8 books out there that do have a spine stress mark on them. Maybe CGC went easy on this one because of the black cover.....
  8. :: That's my book: http://www.myslabbedcomics.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=10584&GSub=870 Stealing scans, pretending you own some fairly recognizable SS books and then posting them on the web's largest SS forum = not so friggin' smart  Wasn't your name Kevin the last time you tried to spam the boards with your sucky blog? Is this kind of stuff Probation List worthy? Probably not but I'd love to see it happen.
  9. Nope...you get 4 every year. (thumbs u In fact, mine are due back tomorrow or Wednesday.
  10. You always get the "free submission coupons" when you renew (depending on which level). Doesn't matter if your subscription lapses...the membership will be active from the day you renew. That's true but CGC will take your first born child if you let your membership lapse.
  11. Wow! The colors just pop on that one! All kidding aside....what kind of spider is that?
  12. Nice! I've always wanted those books, but they are nearly impossible to find in the US. I have never actually seen one in person! This comic shop has another nice copy of #2 with the boomerang. They also have some of the later issues in the 20s and 30s. Send me a PM if you want me to pick something up for you. (thumbs u
  13. At a local comic shop that I rarely go into. If anyone's interested, they do have another copy of Captain Britain #2 with the boomerang that was slightly less as nice than the one I just bought.
  14. My favorite Avengers cover. The colors just pop on this book. (thumbs u
