Ok - I'm going to close out this thread. Again, thank you to all who purchased and to those who commented. My .02 is that unless there is some sentimental attachment to a book (like OO or who gave it to you or whatever), books can always come around again. It hurts to sell books you love, but I think it'll be ok because trying to reacquire same or similar is a good project for later years.

Ok people - just one book left to make this a clean sweep. Master Comics 29 with WHITE pages!! We're talking about a Raboy drawn Capt. Marvel Jr. whipping bound axis leaders!! Are you kidding me?
Let me know if there's any interest and I'll probably be shutting the thread down about this time tomorrow. Thanks for all the comments and purchases.

So I've come to a point where I need to liquidate to pay off some of my purchases as well as funding my son's decision to go to UCSB in the Fall. Super proud of him...less proud that I need to part with some beauties. All is well however as I know this is how it goes. I've picked up books from folks in similar situations so this is perfect harmony.
I'm listing a few to start and more if it becomes necessary. Payment is paypal. Payment due within 14 days unless we work something else out. All prices include USPS Priority/Insured shipping in the US. International will be actual - we'll have to work that out. I'll take returns within 7 days of receipt if something has been materially misrepresented. Return shipping is on the buyer. No Probies/HOSers please.
kudos thread:
If someone takes the book without restriction in the thread, it's theirs. If I'm in serious negotiations with someone via PM, I'll put the book on hold until it's resolved. I know that some people would rather pick up books anonymously, and I don't have a problem with that, however until something is posted in the thread, the book is available. So if you PM that you'll take it at asking, and I don't see the PM for a couple hours, you're taking a chance that someone else could claim it in the thread. Hope that makes sense.
I'll start posting in a few minutes. Feel free to PM with questions.

Thanks for the insights. I assume HA has the books in hand prior to the auction so that shouldn't be an issue. If there is a material error in the description and they want to pull the listing - it would seem logical that the same item would show up in the next week's auction - and in fact, that HA should alert all prior bidders of such. Just musing... Finally, does anyone know if a seller can just change their mind and keep the book?

Hi all - I've bought lots of stuff from Heritage but haven't had this happen before. I just had my high bid on a raw Spirit 21 in FN cancelled as the lot "has been withdrawn". Anyone else been through this? Doesn't seem fair as I'm sure as heck not allowed to withdraw a bid once I've submitted it. Can a seller just change their mind or is it something else? Thoughts appreciated.

As a follow up - raw Spirit 21 in FN in this week's HA auction....only this time it has "apparent" in the description as there is color touch on the cover. Seems like a good reason to pull the original listing as that wasn't disclosed. Thanks for all of the insights.
