How about another nominee? Here's the rarest version of Warlord #108! Sure, sure, 1986 is considered Copper age to many (most?), but not all, so I'll shoehorn it into this thread.

Comprehensive List of DC Universe Logo UPC Variants

We also require a picture of the other side of the pack first! j/k, but would be great to see it! Seriously, yes, it appears that Aquaman #2 was not on the confirmed list of DCUs (at least not on mine) so if that's correct,it'll get added! -
Comprehensive List of Batman/DC Bullet Logo UPC Variants

Thanks for sharing. Yes, still updating the list. Looks like Nov 2022 was the last update, so I suppose I should examine the thread to see if I need to add anything. There are two Phantasm comics on the list which I think includes the one you just posted. -
Here's a close-up of the Super Friends #22. This is a pretty rare issue IMHO and, although it needs pressed, this one is otherwise in fantastic high grade!

In other DC Whitman collecting news, I visited a comic store for the first time and as luck would have it they were having a sale which included some extra inventory. After shopping through tons of back issues, I was amazed to come away with quite the haul of Whitmans. Typically I feel lucky if I spot even 2 or 3 Whitmans in a shop's back issue bins, but this time I came away with about 25 issues in mid to high grade! There were probably at least another 10-12 issues that I left behind because they were lower grade commons. Here's a group shot of my finds! (with a handful of other issues mixed in that came from an ebay lot)

Picked up a (new to me) DC Whitman 3-pack for my collection! I almost didn't notice that this was NOT the same as the 3-pack with Action 495, 496, and 497 which I already have and so I almost passed on it. There are two overlapping issues, which I suppose accounts for my oversight, but this pack contains Action 496, 497, and 498. Action 496, 497, and 498 Action 495, 496, and 497

Comics, Pulps, and Paperbacks: Why such a discrepancy in values?
Warlord replied to Reno McCoy's topic in Pulp Magazines
I recognize this cover from the Dell 10 cent novel, looks like the Dell book came later and was based on this earlier Astounding SF cover. I can't readily locate my copy, but here's a pic I snagged. -
Sharp copy, nice score!

Well, it's only been a couple weeks since I last lost in a grading contest, but I suppose I'll take on more abuse already. Sign me up! -
Comprehensive List of DC Universe Logo UPC Variants

Haven't found too many stray DCUs lately, so I was very pleased recently to find a pair of issues at a local show that filled holes in my collection! Still about 1/3 of all known issues continue to elude me though! -
Care to share what three comics are in the MTU#55 pack? I've seen the pack before but no idea of the other two comics. Last time I saw it, only the MTU#55 side was visible, just like your image! If you get motivated and care to share a pic of the other side....

Comics, Pulps, and Paperbacks: Why such a discrepancy in values?
Warlord replied to Reno McCoy's topic in Pulp Magazines
What a treasure trove! I was excited to see Revolt of the Triffids. The Day of the Triffids was a childhood favorite so I had to check into this to understand if this was something else. Apparently Revolt is just a title change. However, I did learn that there is a Night of the Triffids book that says it picks up the story 21 years later. -

I've started checking out this thread lately, seeing lots of great books, many of which I'd like to have but they seem very hard to find in the wild. I'll have to share a few that I have. Most are in the SF genre, but I've dabbled much more widely when I found the right book at the right price. Here's a recent pickup. -
Can you fill us in on what was happening on the back of Super Comics #44? Lots of color loss at the top, along the right, and across the bottom. Even a couple spots looked like divots. I was baffled enough that I searched and found an image of the back cover of another SC44 and it didn't have all that business going on, so I figured I wasn't seeing things and that there was widespread real wear on the contest copy.

Sadly, no, I've never spotted that issue in a multi-pack.
