6. Kudos to Desertwinds aka Chandler for getting all my World War Hulk variants signed by John Romita Jr. & Joe Quesada. As you may have read from NYCC, it looks like Joe's sig was hard to get, so this makes it that much sweeter! I hope he's got new Dr. Scholl's to stand in line again.
7. Awesome pickups. Gotta love the use of deep [font:Comic Sans MS]RED on those Timelys.
8. Thank you for the great book, Alton. When I talked to CGC about the notes I was told that the pre-grader had it between 7.5 and 8.0! Shoulda sent it in on a Monday or Friday to get that pre-grader bump

12. I just lucked out. Nick was using his beer goggles at the time.
13. 9.2? Looks more like a 7.5 to me.
14. More than two in my opinion. And just to be clear, I politely mentioned Dale's three threads in one day and why it might not be a good idea. He has decided to be pretty bullheaded about the matter...very similiar to what happened in his other pulled sales thread. Jim Oh, there's a surprise. Tell you what...I'm going to start a new thread every time I have more than twenty books to sell. I'll have the whole front page all to myself, 24/7. Or I could decide to be reasonable and fair to everyone else and just keep using the same thread until it reaches...oh, let's say 270 pages. 270 pages of drek :cloud9: That's the point...it's not all been drek. I've posted a Batman #84 in there, Neal Adams X-Men, FF from about #20 through to #200...and just about anything inbetween. Ah, what's the ing point...be on the look-out for as many threads as I feel like starting on any given evening. (thumbs u (worship) (worship) Well, I'm not all that bright I guess...I can't handle more than 1 thread, let alone 2, but I figure 2 should be max per day, just to be kind . I suppose if I wanted to do three, I'd just wait a day or two, then again, I've never been macho;) I also find as a shopper, I get lost with so many threads and I do try to look at as many as I can. The other problem is, honestly, I hate stepping on people's toes and having to explain myself if I post something in a thread about perhaps being considerate, I find upsetting... I may still try and do it, but it's not fun....I don't like being the bad guy/person, pointing stuff out, and that was never the intent...I doubt it is for most people...however, it seems that is how it is perceived by some... The answer to me is...no good deed, ...so...everyone have a beer, soda, cookie (oh and I picked up pizza, too...non of this online food has any calories btw;) so.....group hug... Dale you are welcome to have a slice as well, I certainly, for one, do not intend to single you out....but I suppose I never noticed anyone else starting 3 threads within a few hours...if I do see that, I will say something to the other person, even though I don't really feel like saying anything anymore. No problem. I respect your opinion. However, let me point out, that is was not like the threads started on top of each other. One started yesterday about 11:00. One started later in the day. And one started about 10:15 last night. By the time I started the last thread, the other 2 were off the board. And the guideline talks about spamming and attempting to take over the front page. In no way, under no one's wildest imagination did I do anything even similar to this. I simply had 3 completely different types of material to list and felt the most effective way to sell them was to list them under different threads. I have NOT bumped any of them, and the MISC stuff for sale thread is probably on page 5 by now. [font:Century Gothic]What about making sub-topics, like the one for the VCC, that will cater to specific types of sales: SS, Gold, Silver, etc... I don't know if this will make it any simpler, but it would create a venue where you could have more than one sales thread on the front page, but of different genres/periods. What say you?
15. Not all of them, I'm keepin the X-Men. Get your story straight!
16. Just got 'em back today...maybe gone tomorrow.
17. Is there a way that when you begin a new thread you get a new dialogue stating what's in the new warning banner? This way the new thread needs to adhere to those rules, they can hit cancel to start again or accept the terms and proceed? Just a thought.
18. I think the banner will not be effective because it doesn't appear until after you post something. It's also grandfathered into all the existing threads. Needs to be proactive instead of after the fact - good start though.
19. Civil War and the Brubaker Captain America run are the ones that got me back into the hobby.
