    From the way I see it, the probation list is a warning but sales are at the discretion of the seller, not the bystanders, regardless of the list. I'm not one of those that deals with oldman or anyone that's on the list - I should be so lucky to sell any of the junk that I have.

    Auctions - Give it a shot - set up a new sub-forum, set up the ground rules, give it a test run. I don't see anything wrong with the whole basis of the format, the seller takes a risk and if he's willing to honor that risk then go for it.

    What's the gain of calling out a board member who is selling something outside the boards at a big proffit, and spelling it out so others can figure out? To alienate them and shame them in a public forum? That's his/her biz...if you don't like it you can PM them, but I think it's of bad taste to do this to someone...

    I had a hard time getting my $$ back a bit ago when I received a pricey key as a 9.2 and it graded 7.5. I ate the slabbing costs on that one and the seller was initially skeptical that it was the same book. But begrudgingly money was refunded in the end.

    Dang! What a huge drop! I guess you should count yourself lucky that none of them were PLODs. So rule of thumb is to count 2 to 3 grades lower between PGX and CGC.
