  1. I've had a lot less of this recently. I will say that it's likely because someone's been here to sign recently when packages have arrived, but I can tell you that a year or two ago they were signing "for" me.
  2. Yep, lots of different wraps/cuts on this book.
  3. I haven't seen it and mine doesn't have it. Note we are currently posting these issues in the Copper Age section, so that would be a good place to reach out, particularly to @WernerVonDoom.
  4. I would also just add that "all 4.0s aren't created equal" which is why there's so much "buy the book, not the label" around here.
  5. A couple of early Bronze Age books from the @Dale Roberts recent blockbuster sale.
  6. A few nice raw books from the @Dale Roberts recent blockbuster sale.
  7. The plan is to pave over the affected area and get on with our lives.
  8. This is a good suggestion - you might be able to get a temporary "rider" on your policy covering this process.
  9. I don't know that much about the pressing process, but it does seem to me you have a higher chance of doing damage to these books which I would say on average are quite a bit more fragile than comics due to age and paper. @joeypost could weigh in on this. Although I don't know if he's actually been pressing pulps, he would have a good sense of how the process might impact these books differently.
  10. I generally dislike rules that are based on mind-reading or divining the intent of someone you've never met, but if anyone has the ability, it's Mike.
  11. I was fortunate enough to take a "Tolkien and the Literature of Wonder" course in college (which was, I believe, "only" a 200-level course). The prof announced on the first day that he had found a semester only allowed him enough time to really do justice to "The Lord of the Rings" so the rest of the Literature of Wonder would have to wait for another time. Sure, I paid for the hours, but getting credit for studying and writing about a series I loved and had probably already read 3 or 4 times in high school? Come on.
  12. If the hug comes from your avatar, I don't think I even need the books.
  13. There's a 9.2 on MCS for $64. I'd suggest trying something north of $100 and see if you get a bite.
  14. I'm looking for a nice front/back cover for Wings #64, just in case you run across one in the parts and pieces pile.
