Ive opened 5 of these RED boxes and probably close to 100 Black boxes over the years, the biggest difference is the Chromium Edition inside is NOT SIGNED, which actually makes it more desired by CGC collectors as you can grade that one a BLUE LABEL, or in my case, get those signed by artists for a SS label instead of a green. 

Keep an eye out for UPS, books are shipping out from CGC

Several reasons possibly:

• Book was cracked to add additional signatures
• Book was sent to be pressed and re-graded
• Book was sent in for reholder, but due to potential issues with the book had to be regraded

its been 1 month since I shipped these to Celor and still no update on tracking from USPS.com

I am shipping a 2nd package with replacement blanks to him via UPS express. I am absorbing this extra cost as I want to make sure these get done as soon as possible

All Zeck SOLO books are DONE, and are headed to CGC

Beatty just got books from Mike today, so it will be another week on those

The only thing that CGC will do that effects sketch covers is give books purple labels if the artist "touches up" areas that have no art on them.

For example, some Marvel blanks had a red bottom border. I had an artist ding a corner and then use some red marker to touch up the area. Because of this CGC graded it a restored signature series book.

That is a magic book right there, its had more grade bumps then any other book I have ever handled.

Even though Celor hasnt gotten the books due to a delay in customs, he has though started roughing out prelims.
