I have no interest in completing runs of anything....thank god. I see people all the time throwing good money away on books they have no interest in, but "have" to have for their runs. For whatever reason it's one part of collecting that has never caught my interest and it frees me up to buy only the coolest issues from each series.
I'm totally with you...I have issues I'm interested in but for the most part have no real interest in filler issues that hold no interest for me. A few characters I like enough to consider getting their runs (short ones) but so far I haven't acted on that. Every time I think about doing that then I think what else that money could go for and I stay away from the runs.

Both copies present well for display with great looking colors...I think the AA16 looks better and might be more fun to see every day but seeing Superman #1 in that grade would make me have to pinch myself to believe I really had it. Plus, when showing Superman off, I wouldn't have to explain to my non-comic friends who Green Lantern is and why I spent so much on something that wasn't Superman or Batman...

John that top and right edge of issue #11 just doesn't look right?
Just got my 11 and 28 in. The 11's cover looks to me like it was cut smaller than the interior pages on both the top and right sides. I don't believe there is any trimming involved.
There looks to be a piece of lint by the 12c and a splinter by Wonder Woman's foot. Doesn't look like anything chipped from the book.
I like that Atom has a balloon on the cover of #28 instead of a little tiny sign!

Another small step forward on my Spidey 100-200 run...
I forgot all about the Fly, I liked him as a character as a kid.

With the Mile High pedigree, SOTI usage and classic cover, Blue Beetle in an easy win. (thumbs u

Great scans, thanks!

Always liked the Blue Beetle and that's a great looking copy of a cool cover! (thumbs u

Action 1 because it's Action 1 and it would make a great display piece on a wall. Tec is great too but the colors on the Action cover tips the scales for me.

Very Nice!!!

Wow, some collection!

I never knew there was a Super Heroes vs Super Gorillas special...

Congrats!

Very nice! (thumbs u

The Action certainly presents very well but I'd go for the Tec because of the great cover, the fact that there's no glue (which could be a turnoff to some ultra-purists who could be potential buyers in the future), and it's got the work of Siegel, Shuster and Kane.

Nice setup! The autographed helmets are cool and looks like a nicely organized bookshelf for reading. Very cool! (thumbs u

Maybe it is, but it would be a Very Happy kid with all those books and action figures. Parents would have to be pretty indulgent...

Tec 27 easily, unrestored MF is nice but Tec 27 is and will always be Tec 27. Whatever happens in future prices with unrestored versus restored, this will always be highly desirable and there will always be a crowd that will never afford an unrestored copy and will be willing to buy restored just for the sake of owning this issue.
