Santa Claus delivered seven nice new additions to my Eduardo Barreto gallery, among them a two-page spread from Robin Annual #6 I have been itching for ever since I saw it in print for the first time in 1997. There is another two-pager from Mike Danger #5, a page from the Elseworlds story Scar of the Bat and four pages from the mini-series Indiana Jones and the Sargasso Pirates. Due to the fact that Barreto used zipatone/craft-tint for shading when he drew that story they look much better in black and white than they did in color in the actual book. This technique gives the art the desirable old adventure strip-look.

The one in the back/middle was clearly not paying attention during rehearsal.
Good eye, too funny.

Great books, guys.
I've bought the first three volumes of the Flash Gordon series and am looking forward to the next volume being released.
I received these books as Christmas gifts this year.
The Gernsback Days by Mike Ashley and Robert Lowndes
The Secret History of Marvel Comics by Blake Bell and Dr. Michael Vassallo
I Say, I Say...Son by Robert McKimson Jr.
Nice gifts!

That White Mountain copy has been flipped like a hot potato for several years now. Sold in 2010 for $143K, 2012 for $203K, 2013 for $191K. And whoever just bought it in August is going for an immediate flip at the current list of $225K.
Wow!

That's the first good thing I've heard about her. I sure hope what you saw is what she shows in this movie.

I do not want a collection that will sit inside a safe or a box. If something is cool, I want to look at it and enjoy it. I am in the hobby for me not as an investment. I make sure that there is no sunlight in the room at all. That being said, that means most of you might not like my comic room. I am only showing three walls because the 4th wall has too much identifiable stuff like diplomas and other nonsense.
Great room!
What are you Reading now ..... other than comics ?
