  1. I bought my ticket a few weeks ago.  At WonderCon, a couple of dealers confirmed they will be setting up at TorpedoCon.

It seems the promoter likes to wait until the last minute to update the web site with details about dealers, guests, etc.  I would prefer he not wait to do that, but I'm not the promoter.

  2. Hello,

I have a few raw books for sale.  Here are the rules:

    • First   :takeit:  (or something similar) in the thread takes it.  This supersedes any PM negotiations, regardless if an agreement is reached in those PM negotiations.
    • No Hall of Shamers or Probies, please.
    • Payment by check, money order or PayPal.
    • Local pick up is fine, but payment has to be via cash.
    • All raw books are returnable for any reason, but return shipping is on you.  Please notify me within three days of your desire for a refund.
    • Shipping is via USPS.  Cost for shipping in the continental USA is $9 for one raw book.  All other places will pay exact shipping and that amount will be determined after the book is sold.  All books are shipped from Southern California.  If more than one book is purchased, I will combine shipping.  If the shipping cost is less, I will refund the difference.
    • All shipped orders will have tracking.  Orders over $200 will have signature confirmation and insurance.

OK, that's it for the rules.  Here we go...

Here’s a list of excuses for not attending that I hear all the time, and why none of them are good ones:

4–My wife is a non-collector and forbids me to go. Tell me about it! I’ve been married over 40 years and I’ve heard it all. I still go and I still collect. Once Les Mayer told me in 1990 at Wayne, NJ that his wife thought he was a business meeting. If she knew he was at a Pulpcon she might burn his pulps.

A fellow boardie and I will be attending the Windy City Pulp Con in 2025.  Unfortunately, we began planning a little too late to make it this year.  Plus, our "better halves" want to go too!  Imagine that!  So, there is a little more to the planning.

I hope everyone has a good time and please take some pics.  The rest of us want to see what we are missing.
