SME Set. (1 set left) Each set includes a copy of #15 and #16. All books are 9.6 SME #15 has been holding around $3,200-$3,500 in 9.6 for the past year or so. But one just closed on Clink at $3,000. SME #16 has been bouncing a little bit from $425 to $455 & down to $369. But I think one just closed at a ridiculous $787 on Clink. SET 1 Special Marvel Edition 15 (serial # ending in 3011) & 16 (serial # ending in 1019) #15 has the dreaded white strip along the spine from off-center registration. But hey! White pages! #16 has nice color, BUT!!!! Folded right corner during the slabbing process (See Pics). So you’ve got a 9.6 that isn’t really a 9.6. It could possily be cracked out and pressed back, but the corner has dark purple & black ink. So - I’m discounting the book a bit based on this flaw. Fantastic Four 52 5.0 OW/W First Black Panther The bad: Newton Rings. ugh. Color loss on front cover on Ben, Reed and Sue. But not too distracting. Solid mid-grade book. GPA at $1,150 for 12 months, $1,247 for 90-day. $1,356 for last sale. A Clink just dropped at $873. I think someone got a nice deal on the Link. Price: $1,175 Was: $1050 Now: $990

[SOLD] ASM 63 9.2 CR/OW (Old Label) Tougher in the higher grades. Not a ton of sales data in 9.2, at least on GPA. A 9.4 just finished at $3,700. But that’s down from $4,000 in 2018. 9.0s in the $400-$480 range currently. Last recorded 9.2 was in 2019 at $1,420. Gonna take a guess: Price $1,500 [SOLD]

[ON HOLD] ASM 49 9.2 OW (Old Label) The open edge is just a little bit rough-cut. But sweet color strike. GPA 12 month is $441. 90-day is $444. Last sale is $444. A Clink just closed at $414. Fairly steady the past year: Price $440 [ON HOLD]

[ON HOLD] ASM 47 9.2 OW/W Light ‘1-24’ date stamp at top of cover. Page quality leans more toward the OW. GPA 12 month is $497. 90-day is $589. Last sale is $695. A Clink just closed at $401. Prices up and down. Lets try: Price $475 [ON HOLD]

[ON HOLD] ASM 45 9.2 W Great color, a little off-center registration. Bought from Brian K on the boards way back! Prices wide on this book in grade. GPA 12 month is $529. 90-day is $639. Last sale is $780. So let’s try the lower end: Price $575 [ON HOLD]

ASM 44 9.6R OW/W (small amount of color touch on cover) Not a lot of sales data to draw comparisons. GPA shows a Universal Blue sale in May of 2021 at $9,742. I think restored copies (depending upon resto) clock in around 1/4 to 1/3 of the value of blue labels. This is a nice copy, but lets try the 1/4 valuation: Price $2,425 Now: $2,180
