I voted but I don't see why we even need a poll. I don't consider the Probation list to be limited solely to non-shipment/payment of books. It could just as easily apply to grossly inaccurate grading, packaging resulting in damage, etc.

Kudos to Pirate for a nifty Spectre tpb that I plan to read, some day, and my first moderns in a long time. Also (thumbs u to johnenock for a replacement 100 pager that's almost as nice as the one I traded for a BA 'Tec, DD 7 beater and $15 cash at my last show. Am I bragging, yes. Am I happy with this transaction, yes.

This is not really the place and truthfully, I'm not disputing your figures, but nobody really knows what witnesses make per book. There is not set fee schedule and nobody but witnesses know what the fees charged, by them and to them, are. I still say a good outing often has miraculous results, if you've had no result via PM. That said, make sure you both still show as participants in any PMs you sent.

I wouldn't just post here, I'd post in the probation thread. 3 months is too much and, yes, I consider, this a board transaction. Same way if they had purchased in the Signature areas FS thread.

The reason I asked for a discussion thread in the first place was b/c of Daken2626. The idea was that people could post their problems with buyers/sellers without having to wait the "official" 30 days for probation. Seems nothing has changed. New thread. Previous probation thread. And here.

So despite the fact that Arch has now posted saying that they are going to implement a feature to notify one party in a PM exchange that the other has deleted the exchange (and will no longer get any notice of new PMs), you insist that there is no reasonable explanation other than that I was being dishonest from the beginning. Despite the fact that others have posted that they have had problems with PMs going into the cyberwastelands, without someone deleting them, you insist that I was being dishonest from the beginning. Just for the record, I've tested in it the PM that you deleted and that shows only myself as a participant. When I send a new PM to you, it immediately shows as unread by none. Not unread by Shieldagent. Unread by none. So I stick my earlier claims that, if you say that it said unread by Transplant and then later said unread by none, you are either remembering incorrectly or outright lying. What can I say except that I think it is pretty obvious here who has been the bigger person here? I've acknowledged that there may have been some fault of mine accidentally deleting a PM, not getting an email, whatever. But you continue to insist that the only explanation that has merit is yours: that I set out to defraud you from the beginning. I had hoped that everybody could just calm down a little, shake hands and make nice. The only continued animosity from me is that you don't seem to understand any point of view other than your own. I've asked ad nauseum for your Paypal address from the second you brought this up and you just ignored that request. What more can I do? To everyone else, I'm sorry for all the drama. I won't get mad just because you didn't read the whole thread before posting the above accusatory statement. Here's my first post after Shieldagent jumped the gun: I read this three times, and the irony just beckoned me to post... Now, would you like to explain not only why you have ignored my invoice sent on 10/29 for the books you BIN’d, but why you have not responded to the four reminders I have sent just requesting your shipping information and preferred method of payment? ya know, before we get to probation level or whatever garbage you are spouting? No offense but here was my PM record: If you emailed me after this, that might be the problem. I couldn't use my normal gmail on signup here and created another email account with my ISP, charter. It was supposed to autoforward, but I don't think I've ever received anything through it. Couldn't you just PM me? I think I can provide you with a ton of people I've purchased from here who can attest to my quick payments. Truthfully, I had forgotten about these books when I didn't get an invoice. If you emailed and I didn't get it, use a PM next time. If you PM'd and can point me to where that was, I'll give a public mea culpa right here. Otherwise, pound sand. Your move. In summary, I did ask for a total. I was in the middle of a selling thread and dealing with buyers. When I didn't get an invoice, I forgot about it. It's happened just recently as well. Bought something from Pirate. He forgot to invoice me and I forgot to ask for one as well. He PM'd me to apologize and we'll be closing that deal soon as well. Hope that clears it up for you. Of course, you could have PM'd me and I'd have been glad to have explained it to you also.

You have no more way of proving what you claimed happened than I do of proving that I never deleted any PMs. This is pointless and I've said it before, give me a total and a paypal address and you can add the books to the holiday raffle.

Just send me your paypal, I'll send the money and you can keep the books. I don't give a damn at this point.

What you said is not true. See my sceenshot below. You can see the participants in a PM thread even before the person replies. Any reason you didn't send an all new PM? Any reason you didn't post for me to contact you? Any reason you don't acknowledge a remote possibility that you're in the wrong? I did, several times. Any reason you want to be an and call me out over $18? Greggy's right. I see you deleted the PM or something and it now shows only me as a participant. Mea culpa.
