That's been in place a long time, the ebay link thing. It's called an 'affiliate link', and I believe it's in place to generate advertising revenue.
It's also not, I believe, the only revenue generating affiliate link in the board software. But people keep insisting these boards are a charity by CGC.

Is this thread truly closed if we can still reply to it?
BTW, congrats on the sale of your comics!
Now that you've entered the thread @MrBedrock, I am counting the seconds until a mod locks it down. Good luck on the sales funding your new Bugatti purchase!

Here is a book with really nice eye appeal and lots of cover gloss. Couple of technical issues hold it back from higher. Selling raw, so trying to grade tighter. On the back cover, you can probably make out some discoloration by the top corner (maybe a tideline from moisture?) and some discoloration spots middle top and middle bottom (maybe foxing?). Finally, in an abundance of caution (because of the issues above) I went looking hard at the staples. The top one might be discolored slightly from normal.
Providing big scans and some closer photos as well. Overall, I think this is a 7.0 and could be higher with a press and some cleaning, depending on how CGC treats the back cover issues. Okay, that's a bunch to say. Return policy on this book is: notify me if you want to return it within 3 days and make sure it's back to me within 7 days or receipt. Shipping back is at your cost.

I ever send you the picture of me on a large inflatable unicorn pool float, half passed out floating in a pool, in the middle of the Jones Beach parking lot?
That was Jimmy Buffett I believe.
Glad to hear you are okay.
You and I have different definitions of "okay."

Isn't it irritating to have to wash all the egg off your house every year?

I see nowhere that I asked that question.
Maybe not explicitly. Good luck posting any opinion thread anywhere on the boards and limiting replies to only those who agree with you. Your analogy is more like someone threadcrapping a thread for just showing books. Mine is about people differing on who would win a fight between Superman and the Hulk. You're getting mad because you picked the Hulk and most people picked Superman.

Yes, this is the GA forum, but this is my topic. Those who just want to come into my topic and tell me how I'm wrong would probably be quite upset if I showed up in the "Show Off Your Westerns" and pointed out how no one who's under the age of 147 cares about westerns anymore. I'd be exaggerating, I'd be wrong, and I'd be doing it in their topic. That would be ridiculous.
Your analogy is flawed. A better one would be if you posted "I Think Westerns Are Great and Will Pop in Value, What About You?". Then when someone posts "I disagree. No one who's under the age of 147 cares about westerns anymore." They would not be wrong per se and it wouldn't be off topic. It would be an opinion and probably one people would debate. If the OP in that thread then said, "You guys who don't agree that westerns will pop are all simpletons and don't understand the collecting market" that would be more analogous.
