  1. I agree - I would say Fine but if you confine the list to only those designated as classic by OS and/or CGC (which doesn't necessarily match) then it would be interesting to see who has the most. I think it is Schomburg by my cursory review of the list.
  2. He's got one Master, one Captain Marvel Jr., and one Green Lama. What other titles did he do covers for? Not a classic cover designation but I have always liked his cover to Dynamic Comics #9.
  3. If someone has the energy to list artist with cover - this was the last update from the earlier thread:
  4. I posted this old thread in General. Not sure if it is complete. It contains a list of both CGC and OS designated covers. Classic Covers Thread
  5. Thanks. Unless there is another 9.8 #1 floating around, that guy was fibbing. I am not a dealer and live in Oklahoma. There well may be another at some point. Yes I subbed it at WWTX2008.
  6. I thought I would share my TMNT books. I bought these off the rack and never read them. I have posted the #1 before but just got the others back yesterday. My #2 is in for grading (hoping for a 9.8 on that one )
  7. Some TMNT just in - I bought off the rack. A couple of copies of #3 and #4. #2 is waiting for grading.
  8. I live in a GA world so I don't pay much attention to other eras but this is one cool cover. I had never seen this Stevens cover before - he is sorely missed.
  9. Gorgeous book Richard W W !!!! Lou Fine goodness and a nifty pedigree to boot
  10. Amazing what you can find on the 'Net. I never knew this existed. Not sure what I'll do with this knowledge now that I have it
  11. This is a cool accomplishment, Billy. Congrats!
  12. Avengers #125 was one of the very first comics I bought off the stands. I was 10 years old. That cover always grabbed me. Beautiful books!
  13. My main focus these days is GA but I have a lot of SA books that I have stored away for some time so I am starting to go through them. I sent the #4 in not too long ago. Not the highest grade but it presents well enough. I may send in the rest of my first ten issues. I already had my #1 graded. Pic below.
  14. Three books arrived today: Fighting Yank #8 white pages Startling #21 - The colors really pop on the cover of this one And the last one - Startling #28
  15. 9.2 and the highest graded the best you can do Great book, George
  16. I have HT #23 but really want to get that Brick Bradford. Whether or not it was Schomburg, it is a very cool cover. That splash from MM 30 is tres nice. Exciting 45 is not a bad robot cover.
