A couple of low graders that came in today

I had posted these pics a while back in a different forum. I had wondered if this was the inspiration for the AG Team (maybe someone from SNL was a fan). This is from Prize Comics (if I remember correctly, #40 in 1940). A few of the pages from the Flying Fist and Bingo story (Note the dual beach gymnastics)

Thanks for the comments, guys. I met LB Cole at a convention. It was around 1980. One heck of a nice guy. I had him sign the convention program. I was in high school - so relatively a youngster but he took time to visit with me and made me feel pretty special. I have a fair amount of LB Cole books but this one had eluded me so I was pumped to add it to my collection.

I have always wanted this book and I finally got one.
