  1. Yep plus World's Finest #54, Mutt and Jeff #54, Action #160.
  2. I was watching an episode of Adventures of Superman - Mystery in Wax and thought this was a fun scene with the comics in the back. I don't think this was the only episode where DC comics were displayed but thought I would share. Sorry for the fuzzy pic. It was the best I could do with screen capture of WMP. A copy of Superman #72 which is is displayed on the rack was one of the first GA books I ever bought.
  3. That is a cool pic and I'm not even a cat lover.
  4. Great books - love the DC stories from this time frame and white pages to boot
  5. Great book and a title that I don't think gets the love it deserves.
  6. It has been a little bit since I have posted here but I was excited about this one. It is books like this that make me stray from my collecting focus. I picked this one up recently. It is the Ohio copy.
  7. One Chesler that has eluded me for a long time. Not that it is the only one but I have always looked for this one. Congrats!
  8. Are those all Allentowns? fantastic 2 not a ped. fantastic 6 is the 'frisco. the wonderworld 5 is the nova scotia. i think the rest of the geek's group may well be allentowns. 4 Allentowns. Mysterymen 15, Wonderworld 8, 10, 13. Wonderworld 12 is the Larson. Most impressive!!! Absolutely incredible books, Richard!
  9. I agree - I would say Fine but if you confine the list to only those designated as classic by OS and/or CGC (which doesn't necessarily match) then it would be interesting to see who has the most. I think it is Schomburg by my cursory review of the list. If you confine the list to only those designated as classic by OS and/or CGC you'd come to the conclusion that classic covers began and ended in the GA. Is there any other age

  11. He's got one Master, one Captain Marvel Jr., and one Green Lama. What other titles did he do covers for? Not a classic cover designation but I have always liked his cover to Dynamic Comics #9.
  12. If someone has the energy to list artist with cover - this was the last update from the earlier thread:
  13. I posted this old thread in General. Not sure if it is complete. It contains a list of both CGC and OS designated covers. Classic Covers Thread
  14. Thanks. Unless there is another 9.8 #1 floating around, that guy was fibbing. I am not a dealer and live in Oklahoma. There well may be another at some point. Yes I subbed it at WWTX2008.
  15. I thought I would share my TMNT books. I bought these off the rack and never read them. I have posted the #1 before but just got the others back yesterday. My #2 is in for grading (hoping for a 9.8 on that one )
  16. Some TMNT just in - I bought off the rack. A couple of copies of #3 and #4. #2 is waiting for grading.
