  1. I'm seeing some beautiful books here! Funny how my wantlist only gets longer, never shorter. Here's a Rawhide Kid #1. Not in the best shape, unfortunately. Joe Maneely did some great work. This is not a big action cover, but I like the tension. I can almost hear "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly" theme music playing when I look at this.
  2. I posted this one over in the "Show Us Your 10 cent" thread and I thought I would put it here too.
  3. I've always called them Kirby-panel covers. Nobody did them like him!
  4. I've always liked the cross-genre issues too, with monsters or costumed super-villains.
  5. Here are some 10 cent Rawhide Kids. They're obviously not high grade copies, but they can be tough to find in any shape. Lots of Kirby/Ayers in them too!
  6. You've posted some great books! That's a nice washtone cover.
  7. Great! Keep these coming! Okay, twist my arm. Nice!!! The colors and contrast are striking, and they really give a sense of depth to the image. Amazing that the black area survived 50+ years without a ding in it. You have some gems.
  8. Got you covered, partner! These posts are great! You have some beautiful books!
  9. Did I get it right this time? That's a nice book! Those Gunsmoke Westerns are great, and pretty copies are hard to find. Here's another one: I like the Kirby/Ayers panel cover, and these books have a lot of John Severin and Jack Keller interior pages too.
  10. Nice! The Atlas western and war comics are little-known gems!
  11. And back to Marvel, here's an obscure one, but it's listed in Overstreet.
  12. Here's a Gothic Romances #1 to go with the GTOLs.
  13. Here's my set of GTOL's (not high grade, though):
  14. If I'm not mistaken, Stan Lee also published men's magazines in the 60's and the Pussycat stories were published sporadically in Male magazine. I've looked for some kind of list or index but without success. Besides Pussycat #1, I have a Male Annual #3 from 1965 that has what looks like the first Pussycat story (but since this is an annual it might have been reprinted from an even earlier issue). I've seen one or two other issues of Male that had Pussycat stories that are not in the Marvel comic.
  15. I have #1 with the .60 cover, #2 with the .75 cover, and #3 with the .60 cover. If I ever figure out how to put scans here, I'll do it.
