  1. "Hey, kid! You forgot the trapeze!" ---- I would feel pretty stupid if I was that kid. I hope he really was able to fly.
  2. Rare Mickey Mouse variant? Great books! Hmmm....yes....it's the first inter-company crossover ever, not even listed in Overstreet, and extremely rare, a Gerber 10, I should think....
  3. I'm afraid you got me there. This is the only one I have from 1-10.
  4. Here are some more early Superman's. They're not all pretty, especially as the issue numbers go lower, but they're fun to read.
  5. My guess is that it was harder to find then than now - though cheaper for sure. So you've had that copy for 35 years - excellent. Yes, I tend to hang onto comics. It actually took a few years to find this at a convention, but it was definitely cheaper than it would be now.
  6. This is a really poor copy but I don't see it for sale very often and I bought it just for the cover. Those Nazi bastards!
  7. I've had this one for years. I think it was around 1972 that the 1950's Captain America and Bucky were revived (although as psycho's) and that intrigued me enough to find this. Even when it wasn't on the radar as much, it was still a tough one to find.
  8. I'm not really sure, but it's about 90-100 short boxes, including magazines. The largest part of it is DC & Marvel SA & BA, but also other publishers and some GA. Maybe a dozen are CA and whatever else one calls them after BA. I switched from long boxes to short boxes because they're easier to move around. I also got metal shelves on wheels, the kind that restaurants use to store pots and pans on, so it's easy to shift a whole section of my collection if I want. The last time I moved I just rolled them all into the U-Haul.
