  1. The book did well at over half a mil. If it went for way below half a mil then we could see major price changes coming.
  2. I think an 8.0 went for 610k. Maybe in 2021.
  3. Selling paper to help others. Doesn't get any better than that.
  4. Passing on to a child or grandchild is always an option. Spidey will live on for generations.
  5. Spidey is just taking a break. He has shades on with a Kiwi Margarita in the bright beach sunshine.
  6. I didn’t know until a few years ago that Kirby did the cover of AF15. 😔
  7. We did this back in June. Get with the program. Nice 5.0 with bright colors!
  8. Not a big fan of QES. I don't need to pay someone to say my book is super nice. The eyes tell all.
  9. Spidey is 60. Most ADs (Arrival Dates) are stamped early to mid June. My first Spidey was a 4-pack of Marvels for 48 cents. Issue 73 was in the bag Man Mountain Marko app. Got it at a discount store called Magic Mart in South Arkansas in '69. Went to the local store after being hooked and got the King Size 25-cent Special #6 (Sinister Six reprint) and issue #78 Night of the Prowler. The list goes on and on. Love those memories riding the 'old bike to the store on Friday pm after Anderson News delivered the weekly publish. Happy birthday you 'ole web slinger.
  10. My best friend is 60 years old today. See date stamp on back.
  11. Most certainly is. Maybe the minute tiny chipping on the edge kept it from 8.0.
  12. I think everyone knew that. Then add the economic downturn and prices are sliding down.
  13. Some of us do love the character & book and not gung ho every time prices fluctuate. I for one.
  14. I love stories like this. Well deserved and congrats. Keep it raw for awhile and enjoy it.
  15. I met Neal in Little Rock last year while he was signing prints. Great person.
  16. too late. there are probably dudes pulling out the 'ole schick razor blades...
  17. wish i could find a 4xl in kids Spidey jammies.
  18. Very liberal grade, the right corner crease and left corner wear makes me think 7.0. And it has tanning. Still, very nice book.
  19. Now you've done it. He's probably on his way back to the Boards.
  20. In our later years many of us lose or will lose the coordination we have/had. I've noticed mine is somewhat weaker even in writing. Even posting on the Boards I've noticed more clerical errors. I'm sure Stan's sig 30 to 40 years ago has changed today.
