  1. Roy (VintageComics) is correct. The 8.0s started with a $250k sale a few years ago. It trended in the 220k-ish area for a couple of years. Can an 8.0 sell for $345? I think it could.
  2. Still not enough data to warrant a trend. Even if it is, the slope will be upward soon. I've seen it so many times.
  3. This sale is an outlier. Parts of the book on the edge are missing (call it Marvel Chipping but it's still missing pieces) which accounts for the lower price IMO. Not the most attractive copy but still nice.
  4. That's incredible. Thanks for sharing it. I even had to get my book out and look at it again.
  5. I hear you. Simply put, MC = pieces missing from the book (regardless of how it occurred).
  6. Gorgeous book but the chipping and spine wear probably kept the price down a little.
  7. Tear off 1/3 of an AF15 cover on unsold copies?
  8. Amazing how the comic market has remained strong through all this turmoil. I mean $3.2mil for an 8.5 Action 1 ain't chump change.
  9. I hope we're not buying this book due to movie hype and dollars. Although those are nice ancillary benefits, I would hope we're buying AF15 because we love the book and character.
  10. Trust me this copy is as good as any pedigree out there.
  11. I've heard a 40% premium for books without MC. Could be more.
  12. those are some of the best camera pics I've seen
  13. wow just an incredible book. Sure looks better than a 6.0.
  14. That book is smokin'. White pages with ultra clean grays. I'd love to read that one cover to cover (very carefully).
  15. Love raw copies like this. Well read, enjoyed, and NO plastic around it. Incredible.
  16. Way to go DK. Very sweet. Lots of color and nicely centered.
  17. Incredible price for a 5.5. Still a very strong book.
