Stevenrams
. . . for something completely different, another "D" copy, 42 issues later then the last one I posted. undisclosed (and unacknowledged) cracked slab courtesy of Comiclink Dang! That's a beautiful CGC 7.0. The colors just pop on that book. Congrats! (worship)
50YrsCollctngCmcs
It's interesting how Wonder Woman still had the big old school logo much longer than other DC titles. Most of them had shrunk by the mid forties.
sagii
Superman collectors have Action #1 as well as his own book Superman #1. Batman collectors have Detective #27 and Batman #1. So why did DC in it's infinite wisdom spread out WW firsts over 3 books Makes it bloody expensive to be a Wonder Woman completist. Just dawned on me, the arguably second most popular female super hero after WW, Mary Marvel, had her three big keys spread over three issues too: Captain Marvel Adventures #18(first appearance), Wow Comics #9(takes over as cover star and lead feature for his anthology title), and Mary Marvel #1(stars in own title). For arguments sake, I guess you could say Captain Marvel Jr. also has a multiple firsts situation too, but was just comparing the ladies here. Chicago Boy
That's a fun one too. I can't look at GA Flash with a straight face. Just finished reading GA Flash 1-17 in TPB and I thought he was kind of a lame super hero. I usually love all the Golden Age hero stuff as dated as it is, etc but really wasn't a fan of the stories. Liked GA WW and GL though
G.A.tor
when I put my comic calv run together, the funny animal later issues were down right impossible to locate....the superhero covered issues, not bad...but those issues in the 50's and 60's and such...tough!
