Scarcity of All Star issues

16 posts in this topic

I've been curious for sometime now about the scarcity of All Star Comics issues. Is there a report or article anyone knows of that details which issues are more scarce than others? I think that would be interesting. It seems like they are not too hard to find. But, maybe I'm wrong in that assumption.

Thanks. :hi:

likely only the 57 can be considered even close to "scarce" and even then, there are generally copies available...I would say none are too hard to find...

Thanks for the feedback. I'll have to check comics.org to see what #37 is about. I don't remember off the top of my head. Wonder why it's harder to find than some?

hello all...

let me clarify, if you are refering to scarcity in grade, then they are all "scarce" in 9.0 or better (that applies to pretty much any GA book)...that said, as far as "scarce" = tough to find in any condition, not a one of them are "scarce" IMO...but, a cool run to have!

However there are no NM copies on the Census, most higher grades are restored, and only 3 VF/NM seen by CGC.

Actually there are NM[cgc graded] Key copies.

The Mile High All Star 3 is a NM 9.6..Blue Label [has color touch however]

All Star 1 is a NM 9.6 and is clean.

And the Northern California copy of #3 is a 9.4 with white pages.
