Help with thumbnails

I am OK with basic posting of scans however thats as far as my tech ability goes. Using Photobucket how do i get my photos to appear as thumbnails in a post?

Click on Technical Tips

Check the box on the ones you want to have thumbnails.

 

Then check on the button near the bottom where it says to generate the HTML and UBB codes or whatever

 

Then, voila

They are still coming out full size. What am I missing to reduce them to thumbnails?

If you're using HTML code, then you have to select HTML (and/or UBBCODE) in the drop down box below the POST TEXT AREA.

In Photobucket, check the box next to the image u want, then at the bottom of the screen u click Generate HTML and IMG code.

 

On the next screen copy/paste the code under the heading:

'IMG clickable thumbnails for message boards - recommended'

Actually everyone is giving much more difficult solutions to your dilemma. Even in your post you are using much more complicated html coding to achieve a very simple operation.

 

 

for example: take your image path ->

 

just "th_" before the filename to create thumbnail

 

like "th_filename.jpg", instead of "filename.jpg"

That's what I use. I even keep a "blank" version of the above for copy/paste operations and just copy and paste the file name. (I don't use photo bucket).
