Hello all,

I am OK with basic posting of scans however thats as far as my tech ability goes. Using Photobucket how do i get my photos to appear as thumbnails in a post?

Check the box on the ones you want to have thumbnails.

Then check on the button near the bottom where it says to generate the HTML and UBB codes or whatever

Then, voila

In Photobucket, check the box next to the image u want, then at the bottom of the screen u click Generate HTML and IMG code.

On the next screen copy/paste the code under the heading:

'IMG clickable thumbnails for message boards - recommended'

Actually everyone is giving much more difficult solutions to your dilemma. Even in your post you are using much more complicated html coding to achieve a very simple operation.

for example: take your image path -> color]

just "th_" before the filename to create thumbnail

like "th_filename.jpg", instead of "filename.jpg"

lol

Okay.. now you have to explain how to link it to the larger image

(greggy's post pretty much explains it.)

easy

file.jpgth_file.jpg

just remove all the spacing and replace with the actual file path.
