They are both great, but IMHO Moore understands his job better.

I also like how he works with symbols and the depth of his work. I never will forget when I saw V for Vendetta the first time. Just awesome!

Yep - the man does add depth & intelligence to his writing.

Maybe some of today's big name writers could ask him for advice on how to put a decent plot together with interesting characters.

well you do tend to hear that Miller is to the right of the National Socialists

Yeah, just a little bit.

Not that you can see it in his work lol

All Star Batman and Robin and The Spirit (movie) have proven to me that Miller is nothing but a hack.

All Star Batman is awful and this is coming from a Batman fan. Millers writing is so crappy I can't stand it.

The Spirit is also awful. Thankfully it had some hot looking girls in it. The Spirits dialogue in the movie was so irritating too. "my city :blahblah:"

Miller trys so hard to make everything gritty to the point where I think it backfires on him

V for Vendetta, Watchmen, Miracleman & Swampthing - 4 of the best achievements in comics writing of all time

totally agree

Of all time?

Yes. Not the "Top 4", but easily in the Top 15, maybe Top 10.

MM (the Olympus arc) is the single best story EVER in comics.

I wouldn't say they are my top four but they are close

well I actually would pull Miracleman from that list. That probably wouldn't make my top 50
