Man, is there a bad Sea Devils cover out there? If so I have yet to see one.

I know this thread is about DC gorilla covers, but I thought it would be interesting to see how Marvel took a more sophisticated approach to the high-concept gorilla cover.

I agree! Most of the Sea Devils covers were cool greytones. When I get around to scanning them all, I'll post them in the greytone thread.

it is true that i have never missed a chance to make derisive comments about d.c. gorilla covers on these boards. i heretofore am done with this monkeying around, for the simian reason that such such petty pursuits are chimping away at my 'serious-collector' pedigree, not to mention it's just plain mean. so, gibbon this oppurtunity to redeem myself, I APEOLOGIZE.
