It hurts when your the one beating up your comics.

I was taking my VF Captain marvel #12 (black cover)out of the bag a few weeks ago and the tape caught the book at the top and took a triangle chunk of the cover right off.

I bet all of us have at least one "tape error" book in the collection. I have at least 2; A lovely double cover Air Ace (still got a 9.0 outer/9.2 inner grade from CGC, though) and a DareDevil 164 that I paid way too much for at the height of the (original) Miller DD frenzy in the mid 1980s. That particular book doesn't even guide in NM in 2007 for what I paid for it in the 1980s.

I had a huge tape error, while pulling my Captain America #100 (would have graded at least 8.0) I pulled it out of the bag and it snagged the damn tape doh! I no longer use tape on any of my bags now.
