I like the rules of this thread. I like to be 'wowed' an know that what I'm looking at is special. There's a million other places to post people's SS Slabs, I think we should preserve the rules whenever possible.

 

But also that no one gets too bent out of shape when one calls out someone or is called out.

So here are the rules for posting books in this thread:

 

1. The book must be the only Signature Series book for that particular issue on the census

 

2. You may post your book if there are other SS copies on the census only if your copy is the highest and only graded copy. So if there are a couple SS 9.4's and you have the only SS 9.8, then you could post it here.

hmmm.... something smells fishy about this one!

 

What REALLY determines a 9.9 over a 9.8?

I mean, its a GREAT looking book, but I didn't even know a comic could be graded by so many covers on a single book let alone get the highest grade stamped on the label! My logic would tell me that you would either A) throw out the highest and lowest and take the average of the remaining OR B) default to the lowest.

Well, you would be wrong. Long standing CGC policy puts the numerical score of the highest graded cover on the slab. It is the same for double covers triple covers and Octuple covers. No shenanigans. Consistent application of existing policy.

The Fingh is correct. CGC has always done multi-labels that way.

 

To even have a book with 8 covers is amazing. For one of them to be 9.9 is.... Just wow
